When Will the Prop 8 Protesters Show up at Obama’s House?
If you’ve been following the zany protests on Proposition 8, you’re probably aware that white powder has been sent to Mormon Temples, crosses have been knocked out of the hands of old ladies and gay friendly restaurants have been harassed for measly 100 dollar donations to support Prop 8.
Why? Because they’re evil anti-gay anti-civil rights bigots of course.

But now Obama has chosen to have his inaugural invocation done by Pastor Rick Warren of the Saddleback Church. Warren has toed a fairly traditional line on issues like gay marriage, so one has to wonder. When will the deranged throngs of angry protesters show up at Obama’s front door?
Politico says that gay leaders are furious, just furious over the choice of Warren at the inauguration.
“Your invitation to Reverend Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at your inauguration is a genuine blow to LGBT Americans.” said Joe Solomonese, President of Human Rights Campaign.
Blow indeed, Joe.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with gay marriage or civil unions or whatever you want to call it. But who can sympathize with an angry deranged mob?
The protesters certainly haven’t helped their cause.
Particularly when they did things like this.
And this.
And this.
On the bright side for supporters of gay marriage, Rick Warren believes divorce is a greater threat to America than gay marriage. Plus he has lots of gay friends!
