President Elect Barack Obama finally got around to visiting US Troops in Hawaii yesterday at a base where service men and women were sharing a meal with family.

ABC’s Jake Tapper reported:

“As Obama entered the room, it was absent of the regular fanfare of cheering and clapping. The diners were polite, staying seated at their respective tables and waited for the president-elect to come to them to stand up.”

Perhaps these soldiers heard about what happened when Obama snubbed injured soldiers in Landstuhl last summer in favor of a workout and some shopping. That’s a problem Sarah Palin certainly never had.

George W. Bush certainly doesn’t have any problem getting cheers, applause and fanfare from the US Military.

Funny, I’ve never seen that video on the nightly news.

All this leaves me wondering. Who’s going to enlist to serve in our military under commander in chief Barack Hussein Obama?

Jack Tapper is one of the few MSM journalists willing to report the truth. Wish we had more of them.
