Obama: Hiring Lobbyists Is OK Now That I’ve Won
Barack Obama in November of 2007:
“One year from now, we have the chance to tell all those corporate lobbyists that the days of them setting the agenda in Washington are over. I have done more to take on lobbyists than any other candidate in this race – and I’ve won. I don’t take a dime of their money, and when I am President, they won’t find a job in my White House.”
And yet today we learn that Obama:
“Has chosen a defense expert who is currently a vice president and lobbyist for one of the country’s biggest defense contractors to be his deputy secretary of defense.”
Fascinating.
How long before we see throngs of deranged Obamatrons picketing the White House carrying “OBAMA LIED” signs?
