Chesley Sullenberger III for United States Senate in New York!

If you’ve been near a TV, radio or computer since yesterday, you know that a US Airways jet crash landed into the Hudson River. A flock of geese flew into both engines and the pilot had to land the plane on the Hudson River with two dead engines.

chesley1Chesley Sullenberger III, a former US Air Force pilot, landed the plane on the river, saved the lives of everyone on board and then walked up and down the aisle twice to make sure everyone was safely off the plane. He was the last person to exit the aircraft.

Governor Patterson of New York has already spoken publicly of the incident referring to it as the “Miracle on the Hudson.”

THIS is the sort of person who deserves to be named Senator of New York State in the vacancy left by Hillary Clinton.

THIS is the sort of courage and leadership that deserves to be rewarded with such an important political appointment.

Other candidates who possess nothing more than a pedigree and have the same amount of political experience as Captain Sullenberger, fade in comparison to this brave man.

Governor Patterson could inspire the people of America and the state he governs with such an appointment.

Chesley Sullenberger III has the sort of qualities we need in more American leaders.
