rush3Wow.

Limbaugh is calling out Obama on the Fairness Doctrine and making a pretty damn good case.

“As a former president of the Harvard Law Review and a professor at the University of Chicago Law School, you are more familiar than most with the purpose of the Bill of Rights: to protect the citizen from the possible excesses of the federal government. The First Amendment says, in part, that “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.” The government is explicitly prohibited from playing a role in refereeing among those who speak or seek to speak. We are, after all, dealing with political speech — which, as the Framers understood, cannot be left to the government to police.”

Wouldn’t it be great if King O would respond to this? We probably shouldn’t hold our breath.

Anyway, read the whole letter! It’s right HERE.

If only the president would get off his ego trip …and realize that he does not rule the world. He does need to re-read the Bill of Rights…and as a courtesy, reply to Mr. Limbaugh. Anyone who cannot stand criticism should not be in politics. He can only be sheltered so far.
If he would even consider trying, I think he’ll have a ground swell and protests like he’s never imagined.
He has far more urgent problems to address….like getting better advice about the economy…and not spreading the wealth. Let’s hope this is just a 4 year contract….else the country will be in shambles.
