Senior Obama Advisor Valerie Jarrett Was a Featured Speaker at a Convention Which Bashed Gay People and Jews
This past weekend, Obama’s senior advisor Valerie Jarrett, provided the keynote address at a convention for the Islamic Society of North America. Why am I not surprised?
“…a gathering that attracted thousands of people and also featured anti-Semitic, homophobic rhetoric and defense of the terrorist group Hezbollah.”
Shocker! What did Jarrett speak about, you ask?
“Jarrett noted she was the first White House official to address ISNA.”
You don’t say…
“She praised her hosts for “the diversity of American organizations, and ideas that are represented and will be debated” at the convention.”
“And she openly invited ISNA President Ingrid Mattson to work on the White House Council on Women and Girls that Jarrett leads.”
For what? Free burkas? Legalized female circumcision? Federally subsidized stonings?
An Imam named Warith Deen Umar provided the speech that Obama supporting gays and Jews should find most offensive:
“While many panels featured criticism of U.S. policy and law enforcement, one stood out for its hate-filled rhetoric, and ISNA officials should have seen it coming a mile away. During a “meet the authors” session, Imam Warith Deen Umar, former head of the New York state prison chaplain program managed to:
- Argue that key Obama aides are “Israeli,” proving Jews “have control of the world.”
- Malign the motives of Jews active in the Civil Rights movement.
- Portray the Holocaust as punishment of Jews for being “serially disobedient to Allah.”
- Insinuate that Hurricane Katrina was a result of tolerance for homosexuality.”
Got that last part gay Obama supporters? Hurricane Katrina was your fault. If memory serves, wasn’t the gay community outraged (and rightly so, by the way) when Jerry Falwell blamed them for Katrina?
Will the American gay community now condemn the Obama administration for participating in this homophobic, anti-Semitic hate fest?
Jewish people should be outraged by this.
Valerie Jarrett should be forced to step down for her willing participation in this.
For once, I feel it would be appropriate for Obama to apologize. I won’t be holding my breath until then.
