Patterico.com Outdoes Media Again, Exposes Fake Doctor at ObamaCare Town Hall Meeting
I first became familiar with Patterico.com last year when the site published a long and stunning exposé of bias within the pages of the Los Angeles Times over the course of 2008, leading up to the presidential election.
It’s long but if you’ve never read it, you should.
Yesterday, Patterico broke a story that is worthy of an award for investigative journalism.
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas had an ObamaCare town hall meeting recently with a featured guest named Roxana Mayer who was presented as a medical doctor. She spoke to the crowd and offered testimony favoring ObamaCare.
Patterico, doing a better job than the entire staff of the Houston Chronicle, discovered that this woman is NOT a doctor and furthermore was a Texas Delegate for Barack Obama!
UPDATE: Not to be outdone, Ed Morrissey and Allahpundit at Hot Air have discovered that as recently as March 2008, “Dr.” Roxana Mayer was also a leader of Obama’s political group Organizing for America.
Thank you Patterico and Hot Air.
You guys are doing the job the media used to do.
