There’s No Fear and Loathing in Middleboro
I just got off the phone with Robert Stacy McCain who’s zooming down Rt. 495 at about 80 mph in southeastern Massachusetts with DaTech Guy to attend a Scott Brown press conference in Middleboro.
They’ll be filing reports later tonight if they don’t get sucked into a post event booze fest with the press pool. I mentioned to Stacy that the uber liberal rag The Cape Cod Times has endorsed Scott Brown which elicited an exclamation of “Holy Shit!” from DaTech Guy in the background which was loud enough for my downstairs neighbors to hear.
UPDATE: Stacy just called back, he’s on the ground in Middleboro. Hundreds and hundreds of people packed into the town square trying to get in to hear Brown speak. Cops everywhere trying to handle massive traffic. A loudspeaker in the background tells the crowd to clear the street so that the Brown Bus can pull into town. Amazing.
