The Flag Of Al Qaeda Is Flying Over an American Embassy
Do you grasp the gravity of this?
The American Embassy in Tunisia is America. In the same way that a United States war ship is America, our embassies in foreign countries are America. I’ve been following the news all day on the web and TV since I came home from work. I don’t think people get the seriousness of this situation at all.
John Hinderaker of Powerline adds this…
Someone had better roust Barack Obama from whatever fundraiser he is attending at the moment and let him know there is a crisis going on. The State Department is belatedly trying to secure our embassies and consulates around the world; in the meantime, rioters swarmed over the U.S. Embassy in Tunisia, tore down the American flag and replaced it with the black flag of al Qaeda:
See the photo below. There are lots of pictures in this story from UK’s Mail Online.
This is a foreign policy crisis unlike anything I’ve seen in my lifetime and I remember the Iran hostage crisis, folks. It’s difficult to express in words how serious this is.
You should also see this map of all the protests.
Where is Obama? Where is the President of the United States? Why isn’t my regularly broadcast program being interrupted by a solemn message about how the Obama Administration is dealing with this?

The attacks are a big deal indeed. I know that the President was somewhat busy at Andrews Air Force Base today, as he was attending the funerals for the Americans killed in Libya, but during his eulogy for the murdered (which was broadcasted live) he did address the American people regarding the attacks.
I am of the opinion that Obama’s actions speak louder than his words. He has certainly proven that he is not hesitant to go after terrorists in any country. However, if he continues to choose campaigning and fundraising over governing in the next few days, he is making a big mistake.
