Hypocrite Celebrities Ignore Sandy Victims to Campaign for Obama

November 1, 2012

Where are all the celebrities for Obama who have been calling for bigger government and higher taxes since the moment Obama took office? Have they not heard that people in New York and New Jersey still have no power and no food?

Where are the celebrity benefit concerts? Where are the celebrity appearances on the ground?

I’ll tell you where they are. They’re busy campaigning for Obama.

President Obama will end his 2012 U.S. presidential campaign with a rap and a twang, joined by Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen at rallies in Ohio and Iowa the day before Tuesday’s election.

The campaign’s national communications director Brent Colburn tweeted on Thursday that Springsteen, “The Boss,” would stump on Monday with Obama in Wisconsin, Ohio and Iowa, and that Jay-Z would join in Columbus, Ohio. Michelle Obama is set to stop by in Iowa.

Obama’s had major musical love individually from Jay-Z and Springsteeen throughout the campaign, with a fundraiser in New York hosted by Jay-Z and Beyonce, and Springsteen at rallies in Ohio, Pittsburgh and Virginia. It was also announced Thursday that wild-haired Katy Perry would join Obama at a rally Saturday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

After Hurricane Katrina, Sean Penn couldn’t wait to get his face in the news as the compassionate savior of New Orleans. Now? He’s nowhere to be found.

Where’s Bono? Where’s Whoopi Goldberg? Where’s Jason Alexander?

Where’s Bette Midler? Oh… partying…

It was definitely a scary 48 hours for the inhabitants of New York.

But now that Hurricane Sandy has moved away from the East Coast, it’s back to business for most New Yorkers, including Bette Midler.

The veteran actress and singer continued her life as usual and celebrated her yearly extravagant celebrity ‘Hulaween’ bash on Wednesday night in the storm-struck city.

I hope you hypocrites enjoy yourselves as Sandy victims eat garbage…

Homes and businesses in the Lower East Side and East Village are still without power and under water. Residents began dumpster diving outside a Key Food supermarket Thursday, looking for whatever food they can take.

Helping hurricane victims is only appealing to rich liberal celebrities if they think it damages a Republican president. When a Democrat’s political future is on the line, politics suddenly trump humanitarianism.

Shocker.
