Stephen Colbert Would Fit Right In With The Democrat Controlled Senate

Why not appoint Stephen Colbert as the successor to Jim DeMint in South Carolina? The United States Senate has become a total mockery of our system of government, they haven’t even passed a budget in four years.
Stephen Colbert, who makes millions by making fun of Republicans as protectors of the rich should fit right in with Elizabeth Warren.
Conservatives should support his appointment to the senate for at least three reasons.
1. He would no longer have time to do his show.
2. He would finally be subjected to the same ridicule he’s so willing to dish out.
3. Comedy Central’s audience might realize that he and Jon Stewart aren’t real authorities on politics.
