Turns Out Both Obama AND Hillary Missed The 3 AM Phone Call On Benghazi
In the 2008 election, Hillary Clinton’s most effective anti-Obama ad suggested he wasn’t prepared to be president because he would miss the 3 AM phone call on national security.
She was right.

Panetta: Obama Absent Night of Benghazi
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta testified this morning on Capitol Hill that President Barack Obama was absent the night four Americans were murdered in Benghazi on September 11, 2012:
Panetta said that Obama left operational details, including knowledge of what resources were available to help the Americans under seize, “up to us.”
In fact, Panetta says that the night of 9/11, he did not communicate with a single person at the White House. The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.
Panetta said that, save their 5 o’clock prescheduled meeting with the president the day of September 11, Obama did not call or communicate in anyway with the defense secretary that day. There were no calls about the what was going on in Benghazi. He never called to check-in.
In a fascinating turn of political events, Hillary Clinton also missed the 3 AM phone call.

Clinton and Panetta Never Talked During Benghazi Terror Attacks
(CNSNews.com) – Defense Secretary Leon Panetta testified today in the Senate Armed Services Committee that he never talked to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the night of Sept. 11, 2012, when terrorists attacked U.S. government personnel at two U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya.
The facilities that the terrorists attacked were operated by the State Department and the Central Intelligence Agency.
Two of Clinton’s State Department employees–Amb. Chris Stevens and Information Management Officer Sean Smith–were killed in the attacks that Panetta and Clinton never spoke about that day. Two former Navy SEALs who worked for the CIA, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, were also killed.
Here’s video of Panetta’s testimony before congress today.
