The Blizzard Of 2013 Has Arrived
It started snowing here in Massachusetts early this morning and continued throughout the day. As I predicted last night, I did get out of work early today, which is a nice thing once in a while. Just after lunch, Governor Patrick announced that he didn’t want anyone driving after 4 pm except plows and such, so many people went home early today.
I live on a busy street and right now it looks like a ghost town at rush hour on a Friday which is a little weird.
The snow is those little teeny fine flakes but it’s coming down steadily and piling up. The real heavy stuff is yet to come I’m told, but I’m ready. I can’t wait to see how much snow we actually get.
It’s all just part of life in a northern town.

I feel sorry for my kids growing up without snow. I love the weather here, in Cali, but there was something special about looking at the ice designs on the windows and making snowmen. I loved blizzards.
Good luck.
