The Selective Outrage Of The Liberal Media
It’s been a tough week for the liberal media. Two shooters have been in the news all week and both of them were clearly motivated by and directly linked to leftist ideology.
The media wanted to report these stories, they really did, but since there was absolutely no way to falsely link them to conservatives, they’ve remained mostly silent.

I couldn’t say as securely as you suggest that “the media” (there’s media at all points on the spectrum) takes a unified position of suggesting a causal relationship between politics and murders. To me it’s obvious that most murderers have deeply personal motives specific to the circumstances of their own lives. Even though a few politically motivated nuts like Tim McVeigh have existed, they are atypical.
