Senator Rand Paul Has Been Talking For Seven Hours Now (Over 12 Hours Now)

This is awesome.

This morning Senator Rand Paul launched a filibuster to block the nomination of John Brennan as head of the CIA until President Obama explains his drone program and clarifies his position on the killing of American citizens with drones.

Paul began talking at 11:47 am this morning and he’s still going.

Paul’s filibuster is getting praise from the right side of the blogosphere and he’s even getting some bipartisan support from fellow senators.
