George W. Bush did not steal the 2000 presidential election, he won.
Let’s say that again.
George W. Bush did not steal the 2000 presidential election, he won.
The Democrats wanted you to think that Republicans “stole” the election. The liberal MSM reinforced the idea because they’re all Democrats, but that’s not what happened. George W. Bush won the 2000 election and it was completely fair. George W. Bush won again in 2004 and that was also completely fair. As an aside, you may be interested to know the author of this post voted for Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004.
Still, a significant number of American voters think that Republicans won by fraudulent means in 2000 and 2004. This incorrect meme, pushed by the MSM and eaten up by ignorant Americans persists to this day.
Take the election in NY’s 20th congressional district. The vote between Murphy and Tedisco is currently pretty much even.
So what do the Democrats do? They play their old reliable “steal” card and push it through liberal news outlets like CNN, just like they did in 2000: “Democrats Warn that GOP is Trying to ‘Steal’ Election Like 2000″
“In a fundraising e-mail sent to supporters of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee on Friday, Democratic strategist Paul Begala called the accusation the “granddaddy of hypocrisy” and blamed the GOP for stealing the 2000 presidential election.”
“The same party that stole an entire Presidential election in 2000 and is right now still trying to steal a Senate race in Minnesota just sent this outrageous e-mail to their supporters,” wrote Begala, who is a CNN contributor.”
Cough! Wrote Begala??? Cough! Who is a CNN contributor??? Cough!
Hmmm, that’s not a conflict of interests or anything, is it?
We’ll see who wins in NY’s 20th congressional district but be sure of one thing: If Murphy wins it will be called a referendum on the power of change/Obama. If Tedisco wins, his victory will be denounced by the liberal media as a fraud, and that’s the biggest fraud of all.
