No Sharia Please, We’re Americans
While perusing Michelle Malkin’s website today, I found the platform of Peace Through Strength. While all 10 items on their platform list are rather inspiring, number 4 jumped off the page for reasons that should be obvious to all Americans.
4. A nation free of Shariah, the brutally repressive and anti-Constitutional totalitarian program that governs in Saudi Arabia, Iran and other Islamic states and that terrorists are fighting to impose worldwide.
Sharia law is not only incompatible with the United States Constitution, it flies in the face of every idea upon which America was founded.
Some on the left would deride this mention of Sharia law in America as paranoid and anti-Islam. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Muslims in America are free to practice their religion, just like everyone else. Let me say that again, Muslims in America are free to practice their religion, just like everyone else.
If however, religious zealots of any faith seek to impose their values on others under law, then the freedom of all Americans has been compromised and that is unacceptable.
If you think that could never happen here, you’re wrong.
Does This Count As Racism By Liberal Standards?
I only ask because to me, this sounds a lot worse than what’s going on in Arizona…
Jackie Bugnion is an American citizen who has lived in Switzerland for 45 years. She had two securities accounts in her adopted country but in the spring she was told that she should find another home for her money. This summer those accounts were moved into SEC-regulated subsidiaries. “I call them the ‘American ghettos’,” she says. These subsidiaries are subject to higher fees and higher minimum investments than normal accounts. “It makes you feel toxic when this happens to you after you have been the client of a bank for years,” says Ms. Bugnion.
American expatriates are fast becoming the world’s financial refugees. Onerous legislation from the U.S. government is making it too difficult – and too expensive – for banks to service U.S. citizens that live abroad. Expats are being left with a fast diminishing range of options. An increasing number are taking the most drastic step and renouncing their citizenship.

The Huffington Post cares about people who murdered Americans and committed acts of domestic terrorism.
The Huffington Post cares about the rights of 9/11 terrorists.
The Huffington Post cares about Michelle Obama’s clothes.
The Huffington Post cares about Sarah Palin’s clothes.
The Huffington Post doesn’t care about America.

Arianna Huffington: Capitalism is Dead. Except When I Get 25 Million in Venture Capital
This goes into the “Does she really expect us to buy this bullshit?” category.
Arianna Huffington, hostess of the poorly written and plagiarism ridden website the Huffington Post, recently wrote an article about the death of Laissez-Faire Capitalism.
Stunning.
She claims capitalism is dead and in the same breath announces that her website (a private business) has just received an investment of $25 Million in venture capital.
I’m confused Arianna.
Oh, you mean it’s OK when YOU do it.
Gotcha.
Maybe Barney Frank Should Shut His Fat Mouth
Massachusetts Democrat windbag, Barney Frank, is up in arms about Obama’s choice of Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at the inauguration in a few weeks.
Gee Barney. Where were you when it came to light that Obama spent 20 years sitting in the church of the racist, America hating Jeremiah Wright? You had no problem with words like “God Damn America and US of KKKA.”
Why are you suddenly concerned Barney? (insert sound of crickets here)
God knows, there was no reason for outrage over any of Wright’s words.

Sharia Law in America
Perhaps you have heard about Sharia law in England.
How about New England?
A Catholic School in Rhode Island recently sold a building to the Ocean State’s first Muslim School. They didn’t charge them any interest because that’s against Sharia law. How nice. Can I buy a house with no interest?
Of course there’s already a mosque in Boston, MA with terrorist connections.
And word on the street is that the Mall of America in Minnesota is installing prayer rooms for Muslims on the go.
Just don’t criticize any of this in public. After all, we wouldn’t want to offend anyone.
