I love it when Stacy slaps Andrew Sullivan around, even when it’s through Jeffrey Goldberg:
“It seems lately that “neocon” has become Andrew Sullivan’s term for any Jew who disagrees with… Andrew Sullivan.”
If you read Goldberg’s whole piece, he tries to say “I’m not calling Andrew Sullivan an anti-semite, blah, blah, blah…” Yeah, whatever Jeff… Yeah, Andrew Sullivan loves the Jews, yeah, sure he does…
The leader of the birther movement is Andrew Sullivan, a British citizen and blogger who has been living in the United States for years, trying to influence American politics despite the fact that he – unlike Sarah Palin – is not an American citizen and can’t vote in American elections.
American pundits, bloggers and politicians give way too much credit to Andrew Sullivan. He is irrelevant to American politics.
Andrew Sullivan is not a United States citizen.
He can’t vote in our elections.
He can’t legally cast a vote for his local dog catcher in Washington, DC.
Back in the early 2000′s, Sullivan made a name for himself as a blogger and supported George W. Bush. He portrayed himself as a “gay Catholic conservative.” His fame quickly rose with his blog stats.
Sometime in 2007 or 2008, Sullivan became an Obama supporter, presumably because he thought (wrongly) that President Obama would legally sanction his marriage to Mr. Aaron Tone, an American citizen, which would automatically make Sullivan an American citizen.
For the record, I’m a conservative libertarian who supports gay marriage. I believe in the right of free adult American citizens to marry whomever they choose. It’s none of the federal government’s business.
However…
Andrew Sullivan clearly cares more about his own self interests than he does about the United States of America. Therefore, I don’t care about him.
Until Andrew Sullivan is a United States citizen, he has no business claiming any authority in American politics.
Until Andrew Sullivan can vote in our elections he has no business insinuating himself in American policy.
Until Andrew Sullivan is an American, I don’t care what he thinks. He’s irrelevant.
If he disagrees with me I hope he’ll let me know when I, as an American citizen, can cast a vote for the next king or queen of England.
Andrew Sullivan is not a United States citizen. Where does he get off using the term “WE” in a post about the President of the United States? Obama is not Andrew Sullivan’s president.
As much as Andrew Sullivan would hate to admit it, the politician who rules his world is Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
A more appropriate title for Sullivan’s Obama-love post would be “YOUHave a President.”
Sullivan’s attempt to insinuate himself as an American -which he is not- is akin to an American pundit suggesting that “WE Have a Queen” in Elizabeth II.
Unfortunately for Andrew Sullivan, “WE” Americans are not ruled by a queen.
Politico publiushed an incredibly stupid piece today in which writers Meredith Shiner and Glenn Thrush ponder the GOP's "women problem." The article suggests that Conservatives rejected NY-23 candidate Dede Scozzafava based on her gender.
Politico published an incredibly stupid piece today in which writers Meredith Shiner and Glenn Thrush ponder the GOP’s “women problem.”
The article suggests that Conservatives rejected NY-23 candidate Dede Scozzafava based on her gender.
“Conservatives say they pushed Dede Scozzafava out of the House race in New York’s 23rd District a week ago because of her left-of-Republican social views — and not because she is a woman.”
“Why is it that only pro-choice liberals count as “women”? It’s as if Phyllis Schlafly, Bay Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham and Michelle Malkin were un-persons.”
I would also like to point you to a Politico article from June of 2009 where writer Jonathan Martin said of Governor Sarah Palin:
“Going forward, does she offer a conservative and charismatic face for a demoralized and star-less party? Or is she a loose cannon who should be consigned to the tabloids where she can reside in perpetuity with other flash-in-the-pan sensations?”
It’s interesting to note that at the time of this writing, a quick scan of Politico’s “About Us” page shows that male staff members outnumber females by 69 to 40.
Conservatives know all too well, the horrors of misogyny and none of us will ever forget the way the left treated Sarah Palin or for that matter Hillary Clinton who was vilified by many in her own party until she no longer presented a threat to The One.
The only photo that didn’t make it into the book is the view from Andrew Sullivan’s window. In an American Glob exclusive, we have obtained that photo and can share it with you now:

In February of 2008, MSNBC talking head David Shuster was suspended by his network for making disgusting remarks about Chelsea Clinton, daughter of then Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Specifically, Shuster accused the Clintons of “pimping out” their daughter for political purposes.
“Before MSNBC’s David Shuster was suspended by the network Friday for on-air comments he made about Chelsea Clinton, the television reporter engaged in a heated correspondence with a spokesman for Hillary Rodham Clinton in which he defended his appearance and refused demands to apologize.”
Here’s the video of David Shuster’s forced apology shortly thereafter:
Recently, David Shuster decided to report on a supposed attack on President Obama’s daughter Malia from posters at the conservative internet community Free Republic.
Shuster’s accusation is that a member of Free Republic posted a photo of Malia Obama on the site and used derogatory terms to describe the teenage girl.
Someone, presumably a liberal Obama supporter, created an account at Free Republic and posted a filthy message about Malia Obama in the hopes of creating a situation they could then point to and scream racism.
Has Mr. “pimped out” David Shuster learned his lesson? Not at all.
Here he is on MSDNC MSNBC asking for an apology from a spokesperson at Free Republic:
Apparently, David Shuster takes great umbrage to offensive speech about the children of American politicians if the words are faked like this case, but not when the words are real like his own disgraceful offense.
President Obama’s children are regarded by conservatives as off limits and rightly so. It is only the vicious left, in partnership with the media, which is comfortable declaring open season on the children of conservative politicians.
Well well well, Andrew Sullivan. Now we know one reason why you’re so eager to carry Obama’s water. The bucket in question is tied directly to your paycheck. Why didn’t you just say so and save us all the trouble?
The Washington Post came under fire last week for getting caught trying to rig a meeting or “Salon” between lobbyists, special interest groups and Obama Administration officials. The scandal was so painful for the Washington Post that editor Katharine Weymouth was forced to offer an embarrassing apology in the Post’s Sunday edition:
“Dear Readers, I want to apologize for a planned new venture that went off track and for any cause we may have given you to doubt our independence and integrity. A flier distributed last week suggested that we were selling access to power brokers in Washington through dinners that were to take place at my home.”
She goes on to cry crocodile tears and claim that she knew nothing about the event – even though it was supposed to happen at her own home. Yeah. Whatever.
NOW the publisher of Atlantic Media, the same guy who runs The Atlantic, i.e. Andrew Sullivan’s boss, is offering an apology for doing the exact same thing. You know, just in case he gets caught too…
“I don’t believe that any one of these events had any of the ill intention or effect that some have attributed to The Washington Post concept. But we live on a street too close to the brush fire to pretend no interest. So what I thought I might do is give the detail of the Atlantic Media dinners, address some of the concerns I’m reading now on the Web, explain the virtue I see in this work and end with a personal statement and caveat.”
“Atlantic Media publisher David Bradley on Monday issued a full-throated defense of the kind of off-the record, corporate-sponsored “salons” that last week ensnared the Washington Post in controversy, arguing that they are both a source of revenue “and advance a legitimate purpose for a media organization – promoting debate and discussion.”
Yeah. Debate and discussion that pushes a political agenda – for a price.
I guess we now know why Andrew Sullivan suddenly became so interested in female reproductive organs during the general election last fall. He’s Palin for pay.
More to the point… How does it feel to be on the receiving end of a conspiracy theory which can actually be corroborated by legitimate news sources, Andrew Sullivan?
Hours after publishing the disgusting piece, the Huffington Post yanked it off their server, recognizing the fact that such an article would damage their credibility.
They knew the hateful hypocrisy of such a piece was a damning stain on their record. They would like to claim that they defend the rights of people with disabilities – when it suits them politically. This piece exposed their double standard and their hateful nature.
On behalf of those who truly support the rights of people like Trig Palin who have developmental disabilities like Down Syndrome, I say this: Go fuck yourself, Huffington Post. Your Apology is NOT accepted.
Sound harsh? It’s meant to sound harsh.
The only reason you are apologizing is because you realize you have weakened your political position by attacking the most defenseless among us.
Shame on you.
Trig Palin and God may forgive you.
I do not.
Rot in Hell.
You probably thinkall Conservatives are Christians who will forgive your sins.
Where’s the manager of the Black Eyed Peas when we need him?
Andrew Sullivan, the only gay man in America obsessed with female reproductive organs, is still plugging away at his Sarah Palin conspiracy theories…
“Palin could have gone to a major hospital in Anchorage and delivered the child and still have Trig as an Alaskan. But, no, she had to add an extra risk to her unborn child by ensuring her local hospital and family doctor could deliver the child – even if that extra 45 minutes (like the ten hours that preceded it) could have posed a deathly risk to a special needs infant, newborns who often need…”
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah……..
Isn’t it funny that a blogger who calls himself a Conservative supports the most Liberal president ever while gleefully bashing the only politician to really excite the Conservative base since Ronald Reagan?
Sullivan’s contempt for Conservatives (something he claims to be) is apparently not limited to women. He recently went out of his way to attack Robert Stacy McCain as well. Captain Trig Truther was probably not prepared for the full-metal-jacket response from RSM.
Why is this cockney lime sucking, boiled-meat eating asshole allowed to continue living in the United States, writing about American politics as if he was one of us when he can’t even vote in our elections?
Paging the U.S. Department of Immigration or the manager of the Black Eyed Peas….
First one there wins the support of the American people.
