As Republican Charles Djou inches closer to victory, Hawaii Dems are starting to panic.

I cite as evidence this pathetic letter to the editor in the Honolulu Weekly:

Djou Resign Yet?

Many of us are wondering why Councilman Charles Djou has not resigned from his seat on the Honolulu City Council. How can he effectively fulfill his obligations and responsibilities as a Council member and run a full-time congressional campaign? Legally, he is not required to resign, but what about his moral obligation to the community? It seems apparent he believes that he will lose this election and needs his council seat to fall back on when he does. It is clear that Djou feels his political ambitions are more important than serving the people that elected him to office. His lack of principles and integrity disqualify him from holding any political office in Hawaii!

A quick Google search shows there is a “David Bohn” of Wahiawa, HI who’s a registered member of Change.org.

Assuming it’s the same David Bohn and assuming his membership in Change.org is indicative of his ardent support of Obama, one has to wonder if Mr. Bohn was compelled to write a similar letter to the editor when Barack Obama was ignoring his duties as a US senator while running for president.

Meanwhile, Obama himself is using his political activism group Organizing for America to plea with Hawaii voters to vote for a Democrat. Any Democrat…

President Obama is out with an email to his Organizing for America supporters in Hawaii urging them to vote for a Democrat in Hawaii’s upcoming special election—either Democrat.

Even with former Rep. Ed Case and Democratic state Senate President Colleen Hanabusa splitting the Democratic vote—a scenario that is making it increasingly likely Republican Honolulu City Councilman Charles Djou could win the heavily Democratic seat—Obama does not specify which contender he is urging Hawaii voters to choose in the May 22 race.

And then we come to the real reason for the panic…

“I wanted to take a moment to write directly to you, the voters of Hawaii’s 1st district. Hawaii has special meaning for me — it’s where I was born and spent much of my time as a child,” writes Obama of the seat former Rep. Neil Abercombie vacated to run for governor.

It’s all about Obama. Always was, always will be.

If the Democrats lose this seat while Obama is president, they will consider it an embarrassment and although a victory for Djou isn’t guaranteed, it seems likely at this point.

With that in mind, the Democrats might want to dust off their trusty media spin machine sooner than later.

Now reconcile their rally against big insurance with this:

Neither mentioned that the Senate health reform bill, which is the basis for Democrats’ last best chance at comprehensive reform, would give the insurance companies millions of new customers required by law to buy health insurance. It would also require insurers to cover everyone, regardless of age, gender or pre-existing condition.

To help pay for the new insurance requirements the government would give to people money to buy insurance – $336 billion over the next ten years. That money, ultimately, would have to go to… drum roll… insurance companies.

It’s all fake. It’s as fake as Obama passing out lab coats at a press conference.

Remember all the times the tea party people were denounced as astroturf by the left, the media and members of the Obama Administration? Of course, if you’ve been around, you know that it’s just a tactic frequently used by the left – accuse your opponents of whatever you’re doing.

Sabrina Eaton of the Plain Dealer in Cleveland made a pretty good catch today. It seems there are a lot of people named Ellie Light in the United States. Not only do they have the same name, but they live in different places all over the country and – would you believe it – they all wrote nearly identical letters to newspapers in various cities.

What a coincidence…

In recent weeks, Light has published virtually identical “Letters to the Editor” in support of President Barack Obama in more than a dozen newspapers.Every letter claimed a different residence for Light that happened to be in the newspaper’s circulation area.

“It’s time for Americans to realize that governing is hard work, and that a president can’t just wave a magic wand and fix everything,” said a letter from alleged Philadelphian Ellie Light, that was published in the Jan. 19 edition of The Philadelphia Daily News.

A letter from Light in the Jan. 20 edition of the SanFrancisco Examiner concluded with an identical sentence, but with an address for Light all the way across the country in Daly City, California.

Variations of Light’s letter ran in Ohio’s Mansfield News Journal. on Jan. 13, with Light claiming an address in Mansfield; in New Mexico’s Ruidoso News on Jan. 12, claiming an address in Three Rivers; in South Carolina’s The Sun News on Jan. 18, claiming an address in Myrtle Beach; and in the Daily News Leader of Staunton, Virginia on Jan. 15, claiming an address in Waynesboro. Her publications list includes other papers in Ohio, West Virginia, Maine, Michigan, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and California all claiming separate addresses.

So extensive was this astroturf campaign, they even duped Ben Smith of The Politico who published the letter from Ellie Light and writes today:

A couple of weeks ago I published an articulate, unsolicited email from, as I wrote, “someone named Ellie Light.”

It was one of several such e-mails I’d gotten from a Yahoo account under that name, and the author didn’t respond to a request for more information. That which didn’t really bother me — the author wasn’t making any factual claims, or personal ones, just an argument.

But the Plain Dealer’s Sabrina Eaton notes something a bit more troubling, and dishonest.

Gee. Ya think?

The only question now is who wrote the letters? KOS kids or someone in the Obama Administration?

What the hell do you call this?

“It’s not even noon on the West Coast and already Capitol Hill staffers say they’re getting nonstop calls from constituents in support of President Barack Obama’s health insurance reform. At about 2:15 EST, Organizing for America (OFA) surpassed it’s goal of 100,000 phone calls to Congress, each one imploring representatives to vote for reform.”

“The nationwide “Time to Deliver on Health Reform” event is the most massive outpouring of support from Obama supporters since Election Day 2008.”

Tea Partyers organize and they’re denounced as astroturf. Obots do it and then announce how proud they are of it.

The Obot teacher is an “organizer” from HCAN or “Health Care for America Now!”

Who is HCAN, you ask? All the usual suspects…

“Our Steering Committee includes: ACORN, AFL-CIO, AFSCME, AFT, Americans United for Change, Campaign for America’s Future, Center for American Progress Action Fund, Campaign for Community Change, Children’s Defense Fund Action Council, Communications Workers of America, International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace & Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW), MoveOn.org, NAACP, National Council of La Raza, National Education Association, National Women’s Law Center, SEIU, UFCW, USAction, Women’s Voices, Women’s Vote and Working America.”

Previously on this blog, I’ve written of Obama’s plans to re-brand 9/11 with the help of the DNC and Organizing for America, Obama’s political action group.

Organizing for America recently published, on their public website, their plans to use 9/11 to push Obama’s agenda by making it a day to call legislators in an organized campaign.

In their own words, they said the following:

“All 50 States are coordinating in this – as we fight back against our own Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists who are subverting the American Democratic process, whipped to a frenzy by their FOX Propaganda network ceaselessly re-seizing power for their treacherous leaders.”

“and according to a White House Advisor to the President with whom I spoke ten days ago at a DNC Panel, he said, “ON ONE DAY, you “burn up” the Senate Switchboards – the NEXT DAY you’ve got the Senator’s attention.” We will achieve that effect, on Friday, Patriot Day 9/11.”

Two things are crystal clear.

1. The Obama Adminsitration, in partnership with the DNC and Organizing for America, is using the tradgedy of 9/11, a national American tradgedy, to promote a political agenda. This is sick.

2. The Obama Administration, with the same partnerships, has declared war on FOX News which they clearly view as an enemy. This is something that would have caused left (including the media) to scream FASCISM from the rooftops if the Bush Administration had targeted a network, ANY network, in a similar fashion.

The Obama Adminsitration, OFA and the DNC are subverting a moment of national identity which should be above any partisanship, as it was on September 11, 2001. It is an insult to ALL Americans that they would do so.

A growing number of people in this country are beginning to believe it is under attack from within. Those of us who speak out are called terrorists (this, from the party of Bill Ayers) and propagandists by the very people who are using fear tactics and propaganda as they try to change the system to suit their agenda.

America is in distress.

Quick, where’s my bullshit detector?

Remember last fall when Obama and his supporters swore up and down that Obama had no knowledge of the terrorist roots of Weather Underground founder, Bill Ayers? That’s him in the picture at left standing on an American flag.

Chief Obama Propagandist, David Axelrod went to great lengths to defend then candidate Obama…

“WASHINGTON – Barack Obama’s top political adviser said today Obama “didn’t know the history” of unrepentant bomber William Ayers’ activities in the violent Weather Underground movement when the candidate attended a political event at Ayers’ home in 1995.”

“When he went he certainly didn’t know the history,” chief Obama strategist David Axelrod told CNN – arguing for the first time since the story surfaced early this year that Obama was unaware of Ayers’ past.”

“There’s no evidence that they’re close,” Axelrod added.”

Welcome to weird coincidence land! Turns out a buddy of Bill Ayers named Jeff Jones who was also the co-founder of the Weather Underground is now on the board of the Apollo Alliance, a radical lefty group that helped to draft the $787 BILLION dollar Stimulus Bill.

“Could it be that the 1,200-page American Recovery and Reinvestment Bill, written prior to Obama’s inauguration, is actually cribbed from the Apollo Economic Recovery Act? If so, does that also hold true for the administration’s cap and trade energy bill, which has already passed in the House?”

Is it any wonder the White House refuses to release its visitor records?

“The group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, filed its lawsuit after being denied access to Secret Service records, including White House entry and exit logs, that would identify coal and energy industry visitors.”

“The government’s refusal to release the records contrasts with President Obama’s pledge of transparency.”

“Transparency” was another LIE from Obama. He was/is friends with Bill Ayers. He was/is sympathetic to The Weather Underground. We are witnessing an American coup by the radical left.

These are the very people who are attacking Glenn Beck for exposing them. What a dark day for America when the Weather Underground, a domestic terrorist organization, has the ear of the American President and is authoring legislation to be paid for by the American people. It’s sickening.

Could this story get any stranger?

Last night I wrote about Maurice Schwenkler who vandalized a Democrat office in Colorado to make it look like the crime was committed by Conservative ObamaCare opponents.

Tonight we have learned that not only is Schwenkler definitely a “progressive activist” but that he is also a transgendered man, i.e. a person who is physically female but lives as a male. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

DENVER — The suspect arrested Tuesday morning on charges of smashing 11 windows at the state Democratic Party headquarters is a transgendered “Denver-based anarchist” who goes by the name “Ariel Attack,” according to postings on radical gay-rights websites. A fundraising plea circulated by the self-described “radical queer group” Denver Bash Back! seeks donations to raise the $5,000 bail set for 24-year-old Maurice Schwenkler, who is “listed in the jail records and media under her birth name.”

I couldn’t possibly care less about Maurice’s sexuality, to each his/her own. I am troubled by the radical anarchism, though. And hey, what’s up with giving Shakespeare’s “Ariel” a bad name, huh?

As usual, Michelle Malkin and Gateway Pundit are on the case and way ahead of the American Pravda…

Michelle cites a report which shows “Maurice” has a prior record, perhaps through participation in the terrorist group called the RNC Welcoming Committee.

“On the last day of the 2008 Republican National Convention, he was charged with misdemeanor unlawful assembly in St. Paul, Minn. Court records provided through the St. Paul Pioneer Press show he was jailed about 2 a.m.”

Gateway Pundit confirms:

“The young vandal who smashed windows at the DNC headquarters in Denver on Tuesday worked for a democratic politician, was paid by a SEIU-related front group, and was arrested at the RNC convention last year in St. Paul.”

Here’s an idea for Maurice/Ariel…

If you’re so concerned about LGBT rights, why don’t you try protesting the fucking PRESIDENT???

You know, Barack Obama? The candidate the gay community rallied around?

The guy who now runs the country and clearly has no interest in gay marriage rights?

Some of us who are Conservative Libertarians, who might actually support your cause, are beginning to doubt your true intentions. We wonder if what you really want has more to do with the smearing of Conservatives than it does with gay marriage.

Between idiots like “Maurice” and Perez Hilton, you’re really not helping your cause.

Meet Maurice Schwenkler. He supports Progressive Liberal politics and in his spare time, he smashes windows and vandalizes Democrat offices to make it look like Conservatives did it.

Unfortunately for Maurice, he got busted today but not before Democrat leaders immediately insisted the act must have been committed by some angry Conservative mobsters or Tea Party racists.

The Denver Post reports:

“A 24-year-old arrested this morning on suspicion of smashing 11 windows at Colorado Democratic Party headquarters tried to conceal his identity while allegedly committing the crime, according to police descriptions.”

“Maurice Schwenkler wore a shirt over his face, a hooded sweat shirt and latex gloves before he and another man fled the scene on bicycles, police said. Schwenkler was apprehended after a short chase. The other suspect remains at large.”

“While Schwenkler does not appear in the state’s voter registration database, a person by that name in November 2008 received $500 from a political 527 committee called Colorado Citizens Coalition for “communications,” according to campaign finance disclosures.”

“The accountant for the 527 appears to be the same woman who handles the books for many other Democratic-leaning political committees.”

“A Maurice Schwenkler also signed an online 2005 petition to free anti-war Christian protesters who were captured in Iraq.”

“State Democratic Party Chairwoman Pat Waak initially blamed the vandalism on animosity surrounding the health care debate, though Denver police declined to comment on possible motives.”

“We ought to be having a serious, conscientious debate about what’s best for the country,” Waak said. “Clearly there’s been an effort on the other side to stir up hate. I think this is the consequence of it.”

Next time you read about some atrocity that’s been attributed to “right wing” extremists, remember Maurice and his epic FAIL.
