I mean really, his record of campaigning for candidates isn’t great. Maybe this time will be different than the campaigns for Martha Coakley, Jon Corzine, Creigh Deeds, Arlen Specter and the Olympics. Maybe not…
President Obama will land in the Bay Area today to raise money for U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer’s re-election campaign as an anti-incumbent wave has Republicans in blue California convinced this is their best shot in years to oust their liberal nemesis.
The president’s two-day trip, which includes a pitch Wednesday for green jobs, underscores the high stakes for Democrats, who want to avoid a big loss this year in California, which could be a blow to the party in the 2012 presidential election.
Of course, this news hasn’t gone unnoticed by the NSRC:
“Instead of providing his undivided attention to fix this colossal Gulf Coast crisis, the President is making a frantic trip across the country to help Boxer, whose partisan voting record in favor of the Obama Administration’s stimulus debacle, massive health care overhaul, and out-of-control spending agenda in Washington has put her at risk of losing her seat in the U.S. Senate this November,”
Barbara Boxer is an elitist who looks down her nose at our military.
And finally Barbara Boxer is a hypocrite.
But hey California voters, what do I know? If you’re happy with the current state of affairs in California under the present overwhelming leadership of Democrats, then by all means re-elect Barbara Boxer.
The man in question is Mr. Harry Alford, the Chairman of the National Black Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Alford finds “Senator” Boxer’s insinuations insulting. Can you blame him? Dan Riehl put it perfectly. Barbara Boxer is essentially saying “But you’re black.”
You’ll notice she never insists he should refer to her as “Senator” despite the fact that he repeatedly calls her Ma’am. Mr. Alford is respectful and completely within his rights. Senator Boxer didn’t feel that way when she was dealing with the American Military though. Remember that debacle?
She just insists that since she has the NAACP in her pocket, that naturally Mr. Alford should agree with her. After all, he’s black and black people can’t survive without liberal Democrats. Right? RIGHT?
I seem to remember reading something about the old school ties the Democrats have to racism. Where did I read that?
I didn’t want to watch this video because I knew Barbara Boxer would make me sick. I was glad after watching it though, because I was so impressed by Mr. Alford who, by the way, is a veteran of the United States Army.
Dear Mr. Alford,
Sir, thank you for your service to America and congratulations on your success in life. You deserve our country’s highest admiration and respect.

Here are a few choice comments from Think Progress…
“Alford is a good little repiggie, and was trotted out by the nervous repiggie white guys in the Senate just to show how “racially enlightened” the repiggies are.”
“Our little trolly roller is typical of the disease infecting the repiggie ranks. His crowd has destroyed whatever credibility that party ever had. The “Gentle Jesus, meek and mild” stuff has been thrown off the cart. The holy rollers are mad as hornets, that intelligent people don’t buy their crap. Notice how our little trolly roller hurls out insult and indulges in name-calling. Would Jesus behave like this, trolly roller? Beware the sin of pride, trolly roller.”
“That party showed us Obama dolls with a noose, Obama pancake mix and many other “distinguished” examples of repiggie racism. Stop yapping about your moral outrage, little holy roller, and try to go out and put your faith into action, if you still remember what Christianity purports to be.”
I’m guessing “repiggie” is something you don’t want to be called.
