I know the title of this post is a bold statement but consider the following evidence…
The Washington Post just reported that the CIA planned a “Saddam Hussein is gay” strategy prior to the war in Iraq in 2003.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone used the same strategy in the South Park movie Bigger, Longer & Uncut, four years earlier in 1999.
Coincidence? I think not. Conspiracy!
This is Charles Krauthammer reacting to Dick Cheney’s appearance on FOX News Sunday yesterday. If you haven’t seen the Cheney interview, see my post from yesterday which has video of the entire thing.
Krauthammer’s interpretation is particularly interesting in this case because he is not only speaking as a political analyst but also as a trained psychiatrist by pointing out the “breaking point” of the human mind. Don’t worry Liberal readers, he’s talking about Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, not you.
Dick Cheney speaks out frankly against Eric Holder and Obama on the decision to investigate the CIA. He also has a few things to add about our current state of national security.

Representative Peter King (R) of New York earned a special place in my heart today. When speaking of Obama and Eric Holder’s new investigation of the CIA he offered this:
“It’s bullshit. It’s disgraceful. You wonder which side they’re on,” he said of the attorney general’s move, which he described as a “declaration of war against the CIA, and against common sense.”
“It’s a total breach of faith, and either the president is intentionally caving to the left wing of his party or he’s lost control of his administration,” said King, the ranking Republican on the House Committee on Homeland Security and a member of the House Select Committee on Intelligence.”
“You’re talking about threatening to kill a guy, threatening to attack his family, threatening to use an electric drill on him — but never doing it,” King said. “You have that on the one hand — and on the other you have the [interrogator's] attempt to prevent thousands of Americans from being killed.”
“When Holder was talking about being ‘shocked’ [before the report's release], I thought they were going to have cutting guys’ fingers off or something — or that they actually used the power drill,” he said.”
Amen.
And why didn’t they actually use the drill?
To borrow a phrase: Drill baby, drill.
This entire investigation is a sham. It’s Obama’s way of placating his leftist base while taking the focus off the nightmare that his healthcare initiative has become.
In other words, putting American lives at risk for political reasons.

“The documents released Monday clearly demonstrate that the individuals subjected to Enhanced Interrogation Techniques provided the bulk of intelligence we gained about al Qaeda. This intelligence saved lives and prevented terrorist attacks. These detainees also, according to the documents, played a role in nearly every capture of al Qaeda members and associates since 2002. The activities of the CIA in carrying out the policies of the Bush Administration were directly responsible for defeating all efforts by al Qaeda to launch further mass casualty attacks against the United States. The people involved deserve our gratitude. They do not deserve to be the targets of political investigations or prosecutions. President Obama’s decision to allow the Justice Department to investigate and possibly prosecute CIA personnel, and his decision to remove authority for interrogation from the CIA to the White House, serves as a reminder, if any were needed, of why so many Americans have doubts about this Administration’s ability to be responsible for our nation’s security.”
Vice President Cheney is a great American who cares about the security of our nation. He has every right to enjoy his retirement in peace. Instead, he continues to defend our nation and her safety.
The leftist liberal media have vilified Dick Cheney repeatedly but history will be far kinder to Dick Cheney than they could ever imagine.
Obama is clearly trying to woo back his hemmoraging lefty base. As they become increasingly skeptical of his allegiance to their agenda (see the two posts below) he is doing the only thing he knows might win back their love: Investigate the evil Bush/Cheney era of the CIA…
“The Obama administration launched a criminal investigation Monday into harsh questioning of detainees during President George W. Bush’s war on terrorism, revealing CIA interrogators’ threats to kill one suspect’s children and to force another to watch his mother sexually assaulted.”
“In one instance cited in the new documents, Abd al-Nashiri, the man accused of being behind the 2000 USS Cole bombing, was hooded, handcuffed and threatened with an unloaded gun and a power drill. The unidentified interrogator also threatened al-Nashiri’s mother and family, implying they would be sexually abused in front of him, according to the report.”
I, for one, applaud the CIA and wish they had actually used a power drill on the fucker.
The left is backwards. They maliciously attack anyone who opposes Obama but are deeply concerned about the rights of people who want to kill Americans.
No one wants America to be attacked again but the left better be prepared if it does happen. Average Americans will know exactly who is to blame.
In this video, Dick Morris goes out of his way to praise Leon Panetta. He also goes out of his way to hand out the phone number for Nancy Pelosi’s office in Washington DC. It’s (202)-224-3121. “Just ask for Pelosi.”
We have made fun of Panetta on this blog but we are more than happy to give gredit where it’s due. Panetta deserves praise for putting America’s national security ahead of partisanship.

Nancy Pelosi is actually accusing the CIA of lying to her? Is she for real? Does anybody believe her side of the story? Karl Rove took Madame Speaker down to the dungeon in today’s Wall Street Journal must read.
Wasn’t she third in line for the presidency at the time? And yet she stands there with a quirky/shifty attitude today before reporters and tells the latest tale of “The House Speaker and the Unknown Waterboardings?” Please.
Naked Emperor News released a video yesterday which contains some interesting footage of Ms. Pelosi after 9/11 talking about her full support for the CIA. That’s followed by endless praise from her colleagues, congratulating her on her leadership. You have to watch it to believe it:
And while we’re at it, what about Chucky Schumer, the Democratic Senator of New York? Here’s a recording of him from 2004 titled: “Do what you have to do.”
This witch hunt over so-called torture is nothing more than a Democratic Party reach for increased power. Pelosi and her Democratic party are sacrificing America’s national security in favor of their political security.
The fact that Obama reversed his position on releasing those special photos today shows that he might realize people are catching on to this. Thank you, Vice President Cheney.
Watch this Pelosi thing turn into a PR nightmare over the coming weeks. Can you imagine what would happen if Obama had to throw Nancy Pelosi under the bus?
