Janet Napolitano Making Lots of Friends Fast

janet-napolitanoDepartment of Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, made big news last week when she released a report on “right wing extremists” which insulted not only many average Americans but also took aim at American Veterans. Even John McCain is pissed.

“The last people on Earth we need to worry about are our veterans,” McCain said during an interview Monday night with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren. “It’s insulting.”

The DHS report caused a noticeable backlash for obvious reasons but also caused many people to examine Secretary Napolitano’s department with a bit more scrutiny.

Now a group has formed to demand Napolitano’s termination. Their website is called FireNapolitano.com.

Major hat tip to writer Hogan at RedState for his excellent article on the subject, where he notes:

“The website focuses rightly on the unprecedented attack on law abiding Americans in the report – lumping returning veterans, pro-lifers, those who support tougher border security all into the category of “right wing extremists” apparently deserving of the attention of DHS. But it also focuses on what DHS may not be doing while it is pursuing a political agenda – for example, seemingly ignoring the very real threat of MS-13, a dangerous and ruthless El Salvadoran gang scattered throughout the United States.”

As if all this wasn’t bad enough, today Janet Napolitano even managed to piss off Canada. CANADA!

“Canada’s ambassador to the United States on Tuesday publicly rebuked Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano for suggesting that the 9/11 terrorists entered the U.S. from Canada, and has asked for a private meeting with her to set the record straight.”

“Addressing a question on the different security challenges facing the U.S. on its borders with Canada and Mexico, Napolitano said terrorists entering America have come mostly from Canada.”

“To the extent that terrorists have come into our country, or suspected or known terrorists have entered our country across a border, it’s been across the Canadian border,” Napolitano told the CBC.”

“But Canadian officials were privately upset with Napolitano and confirmed Wilson spoke out in direct response to the Homeland Security secretary.”

Way to go Janet, you’re off to a great start.

Obama Administration Scared Shitless of Tea Parties

How scared? Scared enough to have the head of the Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, throw together a report that paints tea party participants as violent, right-wing extremists on the eve of the protests.

The report is a steaming pile of horse shit without any evidence to back up its ridiculous claims. It’s insulting to everything America stands for, it insults American Veterans and it points out that Obama’s administration is scared shitless. All joking aside though, the report represents something very serious.

We would go through the DHS report for you but three prominent bloggers have already offered outstanding analyses. We HIGHLY recommend that you visit each of the following pages and read them entirely, particularly if you’re planning to attend a Tea Party.
