VIDEO: Fat Ugly Loudmouth Works Out Her Dementia On National Television

And by that I mean, Joy Behar blames the BP oil disaster on Dick Cheney.

I guess Joy hasn’t heard that Obama recently gave Cheney’s devil spawn Halliburton a $500 Million no-bid contract.

Was that Cheney’s fault too, Joyless?

First Lady Laura Bush the Latest Conservative to Voice Support for Gay Marriage

HT to Instapundit.

From GOProud:

“We want to thank Former First Lady Laura Bush for her courageous support for marriage equality for gay and lesbian couples. Laura Bush now joins prominent conservatives such as former Vice President Dick Cheney in support of same-sex marriage.

“It will be impossible for the gay community to achieve equality of opportunity without the support of conservative voices like Laura Bush. I further hope my friends on the left note that now we have members of the Bush, Cheney and McCain families in support of marriage, but no Obamas or Bidens.”

Conservatives who have voiced support for gay marriage:

First Lady Laura Bush

Vice President Dick Cheney

Cindy McCain

Moe Lane of Red State

Roger Simon of Pajamas Media

ALSO: The nation’s most prominent military bloggers, most of them conservative, have now advocated a change to the military’s DADT policy.

Liberals Aren’t Afraid of Kalid Sheikh Mohammed, Just Tea Parties and FOX News

The Democrat talking point of the day is that they aren't afraid of Kalidh Sheik Mohammed like all the wimpy conservatives who don't want him tried in New York. Another classic example of liberals putting politics above national security.

The Democrat talking point of the day is that they aren’t afraid of Kalid Sheikh Mohammed like all the wimpy conservatives who don’t want him tried in New York. Another classic example of liberals putting politics above national security.

Attorney General Eric Holder, defending his Obama’s decision to try KSM in New York said:

“I’m not scared of what Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has to say at trial and no one else needs to be afraid either,” Holder said. “We need not cower in the face of this enemy.”

Right on cue, liberal venom spewer Markos Moulitsas followed up with:

“American liberals are tough on terrorists and secure in their knowledge that the Sept. 11 conspirators are guilty of mass murder. American conservatives are timid cowards who fear that the U.S. government can’t actually prove that the Sept. 11 killers committed their heinous crimes.”

How is it cowardly to want KSM tried in a military tribunal and executed?

What’s really cowardly is that liberals can only advance their agenda through back doors in the dark of night since their ideas never survive the forum of public scrutiny.

What Holder, KOS, and company really want is a referendum on Bush, Cheney and company.

They can’t do it out in the open so they’re sacrificing national security to sneak it in through the back door and hoping no one notices.

That, my friends, is cowardice.

VIDEO: Dick Cheney’s Entire Speech 10/21/09

Dick Cheney made a speech last night at the Center for Security Policy. One of the highlights of the speech was his remarks on the situation in Afghanistan. The video is twenty-five minutes long.

Dick Cheney made a speech last night at the Center for Security Policy. One of the highlights of the speech was his remarks on the situation in Afghanistan. The video is twenty-five minutes long.

If you have the time, I recommend watching the whole thing. Cheney really goes after Obama on national security and the danger of putting politics before safety. He also reveals that the Obama Administration used the plan for Afghanistan that was handed to them by the Bush Administration, despite the fact that team O continually runs around claiming otherwise.

VIDEO: Obama on Gay Marriage Then and Now

"The answer my friend, is blowin' in the wind. The answer is blowin' in the wind..."

Obama was against gay marriage before he was for it. Or against it. Or for it. Or against it.

Frankly, it’s hard to keep track of his position.

Vice President Dick Cheney is for it. Moe Lane of RedState.com is for it. I’m for it.

What’s Obama’s position?

“The answer my friend, is blowin’ in the wind. The answer is blowin’ in the wind…”

How to Make a Liberal’s Head Explode in Three Easy Words: Cheney in 2012

Of course Dick Cheney is not going to run for president in 2012, but it's fun to think about. Can you IMAGINE the presidential debate???

exploding-head3Of course Dick Cheney is not going to run for president in 2012, but it’s fun to think about. Can you IMAGINE the presidential debate???

James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal penned a piece today that’s causing quite a ruckus on the left.

“If the Bush administration’s policies really did keep us safe for 7½ years, then it stands to reason that the Obama administrations’ policies may be endangering us now. Certainly that is how the public would see it in the event of another terrorist attack.”

“If that happens, heaven forbid, Obama will be seen to have failed in the most basic presidential duty, and the Bush administration will be vindicated. As inconceivable as it may seem today, the 2012 election may end up turning on national security. Republicans would be wise to nominate someone with both toughness and experience. Under such circumstances, it’s hard to think of a better candidate–assuming, of course, that he could be persuaded to run–than Richard B. Cheney.”

Allahpundit at Hot Air is more skeptical than I am and cites three good reasons why this wouldn’t happen. The last one is the most important.

“his [Cheney's] candidacy would end up being a referendum on the Bush years, which is just about the only way to fire up the liberal base enough to turn out in droves in 2012.”

Hey, if Cheney decides he wants to run that’s up to him. I’m betting he will be more interested in writing his memoirs. If, however he does run, I’ll borrow a famous quote from the man of steel himself… “So?”

Charles Krauthammer to Liberals: Cheney is Right and You Know it

Krauthammer's interpretation is particularly interesting in this case because he is not only speaking as a political analyst but also as a trained psychiatrist by pointing out the "breaking point" of the human mind. Don't worry Liberal readers, he's talking about Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, not you.

This is Charles Krauthammer reacting to Dick Cheney’s appearance on FOX News Sunday yesterday. If you haven’t seen the Cheney interview, see my post from yesterday which has video of the entire thing.
