Welcome To Bizarro America: Every Single Thing the Left Screamed About Under Bush, They Are Now Embracing Under Obama

Dissent under Bush was patriotic.

Dissent under Obama is a “mob.”

The wars in the middle east under Bush were “treason.” Obama hasn’t ended the wars and needs more troops for Afghanistan.

The left accused Bush of having a “shadow government.” Obama really HAS a shadow government.

Dick Cheney was accused of favoring Halliburton.

Obama really IS favoring General Electric.

Nancy Pelosi lies and  accuses conservative protesters of having nazi signs. Liberal Bush protesters openly acused Bush of being a nazi.

The left accused the Bush Administration of being Big Brother. The Obama Administration is OPENLY acting like Big Brother.

The left is accusing average American citizens of being astroturfers. Obama and his chief advisor David Axelrod are successful because of their expertise in astroturfing.

Bush critics said he was violating the civil rights of American citizens. Obama loyalists want ObamaCare protesters named, photographed and indexed.

Obama, the Democrats and their leftist base are engaging in and embracing EVERY SINGLE THING they falsely accused the Bush Administration of doing, and worse.

Down is up.

Poor is rich.

War is peace.

Elitism is equality.

Lies are truth.

Welcome to Bizarro America.

Rush Limbaugh Writes Letter to President Obama, Published by Wall Street Journal!

rush3Wow.

Limbaugh is calling out Obama on the Fairness Doctrine and making a pretty damn good case.

“As a former president of the Harvard Law Review and a professor at the University of Chicago Law School, you are more familiar than most with the purpose of the Bill of Rights: to protect the citizen from the possible excesses of the federal government. The First Amendment says, in part, that “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.” The government is explicitly prohibited from playing a role in refereeing among those who speak or seek to speak. We are, after all, dealing with political speech — which, as the Framers understood, cannot be left to the government to police.”

Wouldn’t it be great if King O would respond to this? We probably shouldn’t hold our breath.

Anyway, read the whole letter! It’s right HERE.

New York Times Pushing Sympathy for ACORN

Anything in this photo just sort of jump out at you?

nytacorn

Perhaps the crying woman wearing an ACORN shirt? Or maybe the man comforting her also wearing an ACORN shirt? Or perhaps the ACORN sign resting next to him?

This photo is from a New York Times story titled “Effort Takes Shape to Support Families Facing Forclosure.”

Now we don’t wish misfortune on our fellow Americans. It’s sad that people are losing their homes. We do however, take issue with the New York Times using this issue to carry water for ACORN.

You know, ACORN, the fraudulent voter registration organization now being investigated in several states.

The same ACORN which is currently pushing for the Fairness Doctrine.

The same ACORN that’s largely to blame for the sub-prime mortgage meltdown.

The New York Times sees things differently and is giving a voice to this organization:

“You want to haul us out to jail? Fine. Let the world see how government has been ineffective,” Bertha Lewis, Acorn’s chief organizer, said in an interview. “Politicians have helped banks, but they haven’t helped families in the way that it’s needed, and these families are now saying, enough is enough.”

You’re right Bertha. Enough is enough. Most Americans feel the exact same way though the focus of our exasperation is different. To get a sense of what I mean, you need only look in a mirror.

Of course, ACORN won’t have the New York Times to back them up for long. Considering that the cost of a share of stock in the New York Times now costs less than their Sunday edition.
