According to a new poll conducted by Suffolk University and Channel 7 of Boston, Scott Brown is now leading Martha Coakley by four points. Brown 50% to Coakley 46%.

This is great news for Scott Brown. The Boston Herald reports:

Riding a wave of opposition to Democratic health-care reform, GOP upstart Scott Brown is leading in the U.S. Senate race, raising the odds of a historic upset that would reverberate all the way to the White House, a new poll shows.

Although Brown’s 4-point lead over Democrat Martha Coakley is within the Suffolk University/7News survey’s margin of error, the underdog’s position at the top of the results stunned even pollster David Paleologos.

“It’s a Brown-out,” said Paleologos, director of Suffolk’s Political Research Center. “It’s a massive change in the political landscape.”

Change in the political landscape. Hmm.. I seem to remember another writer using those exact words.

Brown’s favorability ratings are also higher than Coakley’s, with 57 percent saying they have a favorable opinion of the state senator and just 19 percent having an unfavorable opinion. Forty-nine percent say they have a favorable opinion of Coakley, while 41 percent have an unfavorable opinion of the attorney general.

Against the backdrop of an election that could possibly play a decisive role in the health care debate—a point both parties have begun to press on their supporters—51 percent said they did not support the health care bill, with 36 percent supported it. Sixty-one percent said they didn’t believe the government could afford such a plan.

A plurality of respondents also believe Brown fared better during the televised debates between the candidates, with 41 percent saying they believed Brown won, compared to just 25 percent for Coakley.

With Mrs. Coakley flagging in the polls and Republican Scott Brown closing fast — one recent polls puts him 2 points ahead — Mr. Obama has decided to keep his fingerprints off a race that would be an embarrassment for Democrats should they lose, given that Mr. Obama won the state in 2008 by a 27 point margin.

Scott Brown can win this election and if he does, get ready to hear the loudest gnashing of teeth from the Democrat political establishment since Reagan turned Massachusetts red in 1980.

How’s that “historic” healthcare legislation working out for you?

“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 That’s the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President.”

Gateway Pundit points out that at the end of George W. Bush’s second term, his disapproval rating was 43%.

Obama’s is currently 46%. Ouch.

The AP reinforces Stacy’s argument by reminding us how much liberals love “mavericky” Republicans. You know, the kind that aren’t conservatives and don’t excite conservative voters…

“Breaking with her party is a role Snowe has played many times, from her vote for Obama’s $787 billion economic stimulus bill to her defiance of then-President George W. Bush on a bill to provide health are to millions of uninsured children.”

“Snowe also was one of the “Gang of 14″ Democratic and Republican senators who resolved a standoff over judicial nominations.”

Olympia Snowe is just the type of Republican liberals would love to run against in 2012 or 2016.

I’m sure the AP would just love it if everyone forgot about Sarah Palin.

Could this story get any stranger?

Last night I wrote about Maurice Schwenkler who vandalized a Democrat office in Colorado to make it look like the crime was committed by Conservative ObamaCare opponents.

Tonight we have learned that not only is Schwenkler definitely a “progressive activist” but that he is also a transgendered man, i.e. a person who is physically female but lives as a male. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

DENVER — The suspect arrested Tuesday morning on charges of smashing 11 windows at the state Democratic Party headquarters is a transgendered “Denver-based anarchist” who goes by the name “Ariel Attack,” according to postings on radical gay-rights websites. A fundraising plea circulated by the self-described “radical queer group” Denver Bash Back! seeks donations to raise the $5,000 bail set for 24-year-old Maurice Schwenkler, who is “listed in the jail records and media under her birth name.”

I couldn’t possibly care less about Maurice’s sexuality, to each his/her own. I am troubled by the radical anarchism, though. And hey, what’s up with giving Shakespeare’s “Ariel” a bad name, huh?

As usual, Michelle Malkin and Gateway Pundit are on the case and way ahead of the American Pravda…

Michelle cites a report which shows “Maurice” has a prior record, perhaps through participation in the terrorist group called the RNC Welcoming Committee.

“On the last day of the 2008 Republican National Convention, he was charged with misdemeanor unlawful assembly in St. Paul, Minn. Court records provided through the St. Paul Pioneer Press show he was jailed about 2 a.m.”

Gateway Pundit confirms:

“The young vandal who smashed windows at the DNC headquarters in Denver on Tuesday worked for a democratic politician, was paid by a SEIU-related front group, and was arrested at the RNC convention last year in St. Paul.”

Here’s an idea for Maurice/Ariel…

If you’re so concerned about LGBT rights, why don’t you try protesting the fucking PRESIDENT???

You know, Barack Obama? The candidate the gay community rallied around?

The guy who now runs the country and clearly has no interest in gay marriage rights?

Some of us who are Conservative Libertarians, who might actually support your cause, are beginning to doubt your true intentions. We wonder if what you really want has more to do with the smearing of Conservatives than it does with gay marriage.

Between idiots like “Maurice” and Perez Hilton, you’re really not helping your cause.

Meet Maurice Schwenkler. He supports Progressive Liberal politics and in his spare time, he smashes windows and vandalizes Democrat offices to make it look like Conservatives did it.

Unfortunately for Maurice, he got busted today but not before Democrat leaders immediately insisted the act must have been committed by some angry Conservative mobsters or Tea Party racists.

The Denver Post reports:

“A 24-year-old arrested this morning on suspicion of smashing 11 windows at Colorado Democratic Party headquarters tried to conceal his identity while allegedly committing the crime, according to police descriptions.”

“Maurice Schwenkler wore a shirt over his face, a hooded sweat shirt and latex gloves before he and another man fled the scene on bicycles, police said. Schwenkler was apprehended after a short chase. The other suspect remains at large.”

“While Schwenkler does not appear in the state’s voter registration database, a person by that name in November 2008 received $500 from a political 527 committee called Colorado Citizens Coalition for “communications,” according to campaign finance disclosures.”

“The accountant for the 527 appears to be the same woman who handles the books for many other Democratic-leaning political committees.”

“A Maurice Schwenkler also signed an online 2005 petition to free anti-war Christian protesters who were captured in Iraq.”

“State Democratic Party Chairwoman Pat Waak initially blamed the vandalism on animosity surrounding the health care debate, though Denver police declined to comment on possible motives.”

“We ought to be having a serious, conscientious debate about what’s best for the country,” Waak said. “Clearly there’s been an effort on the other side to stir up hate. I think this is the consequence of it.”

Next time you read about some atrocity that’s been attributed to “right wing” extremists, remember Maurice and his epic FAIL.

You may have read a report from Patterico.com last week which exposed a fake doctor making an appearance at a town hall meeting in Texas to support ObamaCare.

Now there’s another one.

Michelle Malkin and Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit have the story.

Malkin notes:

“Dubious “doctors” keep turning up at congressional town hall meetings to support a government health care takeover plan that sane medical professionals are revolting against in force.”

Gateway Pundit has more including the “doctor’s” weird car…

“Sheila Leavitt is not a real life doctor– but she does play one at town hall meetings… When she’s not filling up her car with grease.”

Left pundits and Democrat leaders keep screeching that the protesters of ObamaCare are fake.

So far, the only verified fakes are the pro-Obama doctors who keep showing up at town halls.

Gateway Pundit is reporting that ObamaCare protesters were locked out of a town hall meeting in St. Louis, Missouri while SEIU members were sneaked in through the back door.
