Sean Hannity and Senator Jim Inhofe (Republican, Oklahoma) took on Al Gore and Climategate in this segment from Hannity on The FOX News Channel last night. Informative and classic Hannity.

Climategate, the scandal that showed global warming advocates were intentionally manipulating scientific data to advance an agenda, is continuing to unravel.

Christopher Booker at The Telegraph calls it “The Worst Scientific Scandal of Our Generation.”

“A week after my colleague James Delingpole, on his Telegraph blog, coined the term “Climategate” to describe the scandal revealed by the leaked emails from the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit, Google was showing that the word now appears across the internet more than nine million times. But in all these acres of electronic coverage, one hugely relevant point about these thousands of documents has largely been missed.”

“The reason why even the Guardian’s George Monbiot has expressed total shock and dismay at the picture revealed by the documents is that their authors are not just any old bunch of academics. Their importance cannot be overestimated, What we are looking at here is the small group of scientists who have for years been more influential in driving the worldwide alarm over global warming than any others, not least through the role they play at the heart of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).”

Andrea Peyser at the New York Post reveals that her daughter was recruited by the cult of Gore at school…

“When did global warming turn into a forced religion?”

“My daughter came home from school recently with a spring in her step and a song on her lips. With no foreshadowing — or time to call an exorcist — out came this chilling refrain:”

” . . . You can hear the warning — GLOBAL WARMING . . . “

“By the time her father and I removed our jaws from the floor, we had learned that:”

“A) All the kids had been coerced into singing this catchy ditty, which we called “The Warming Song,” at a concert for parents.”

“B) Further song lyrics scolded selfish adults (that would be us) for polluting our planet and causing a warming scourge that would, in no short order, kill all the polar bears and threaten the birds and bees.”

“C) There was no deprogramming session on the menu. And no arguing allowed.”

“The international “Climategate” scandal is now moving into its third week. And reaction from folks on the scientific and political left — or is that redundant? — who treat global warming as a cult in which naysayers must be crushed has been depressing:”

“Total denial.”

You’ve got that right, Andrea. Why else would Obama still be going to Copenhagen to talk climate change? And why won’t he or the media even utter the word Climategate?

The religion of global warming, that is. Behold!

After listening closely, I’m wondering. Was this video narrated by John Boehner? Hmm…

I can’t wait to see these jerks prosecuted. We will keep an eye on this situation in the coming weeks. PREDICTION: Greenpeace probably thinks the Obama administration will come to their rescue on this. Watch them flip out when he wants nothing to do with them.

It’s interesting to note that out of all the people interviewed in the video, everyone who is clearly from the USA is disgusted. The only person CNN could find to say he thought the “protest” was a great idea looks and sounds like Hans, the president of the America Sucks Club at the University of Berlin.

It’s also noteworthy that every member of Greenpeace interviewed refers to global warming as the “greatest challenge/crisis” facing this generation/humankind. Talking points anyone?

In fact, he’s so transparent on this issue, he’s see-through. President Obama cares so much about climate change (when he’s not wasting 9,000 gallons of jet fuel traveling to Earth Day events) that he had his lackeys write about it on the official White House blog:

“On March 9th, I signed an executive memorandum with a clear message: Under my administration, the days of science taking a back seat to ideology are over. Our progress as a nation – and our values as a nation – are rooted in free and open inquiry. To undermine scientific integrity is to undermine our democracy. It is contrary to our way of life.”

“That’s why I have charged John Holdren in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy with leading a new effort to ensure that federal policies are based on the best and most unbiased scientific information.  I want to be sure that facts are driving scientific decisions – and not the other way around.”

Monique Stuart, one of our favorite bloggers, made short work of the president in a recent post on this very subject:

“The days of science taking a back seat to ideology are over?” Since when? Is science not taking a back seat to ideology when it comes to “climate change?” The last time I checked, there was plenty of science out there that doesn’t support the claims being made about climate change. There is plenty of science to suggest that the globe is not warming and, even if it is, it is not a man-made problem. Yet, this science takes a back seat to your ideology.”

“Anyone who doesn’t agree with your agenda is “politicizing” the issue, putting ideology before science, or presenting the public with a “false choice.” You are the false choice, Mr. President, and I can’t wait for the majority of Americans to see that.”

Monique is right but we think Obama and his cohorts are just capitalizing on their favorite subject. God knows Al Gore is making a ton of money as a global warming alarmist.

This level of hypocrisy knows no bounds. Obama is cranking the heat.

According to David Axelrod, Obama’s chief advisor, Obama has the heat set in the Oval office to tropical levels. Axelrod was quoted in the New York Times saying:

“He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there.”

This is the same man who said just last May:

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK.”
