The Party Of Grab

Hey, have you heard that Obama and Nancy Pelosi have cost America more money in the last 19 months than the entire eight years of the Iraq war?

BigFurHat of iOwnTheWorld has expressed this sentiment visually with his wizardly photoshop skills.

Let Me Be Clear: Obama Deserves ZERO Credit For Iraq

Obama has been breaking his arm patting himself on the back for success in Iraq lately, Biden too. But just so we’re clear, neither Joe Biden nor Barack Obama deserve a single ounce of credit for any success in Iraq. The timetable for withdrawal of troops from Iraq that Obama sees fit to call the fulfillment of one of his campaign promises, was designed by the one man Obama will never ever give credit. George W. Bush…

President Barack Obama told disabled veterans in Atlanta on Monday that he was fulfilling a campaign promise by ending U.S. combat operations in Iraq “on schedule.”

But the timetable for withdrawing U.S. troops in Iraq was decided during the Bush administration with the signing of the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) by U.S. and Iraq officials on Nov. 16, 2008. The Iraqi parliament signed SOFA on Nov. 27, 2008.

The agreement, which had been in negotiations since 2007, set a timetable calling for most U.S. troops to leave Iraqi towns and cities by June 30, 2009, with about 50,000 troops left in place until the final withdrawal of all U.S. military forces by Dec. 31, 2011.

Listen to Obama, who opposed the surge, touting his success…

Trey Parker and Matt Stone Run the CIA!

I know the title of this post is a bold statement but consider the following evidence…

The Washington Post just reported that the CIA planned a “Saddam Hussein is gay” strategy prior to the war in Iraq in 2003.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone used the same strategy in the South Park movie Bigger, Longer & Uncut, four years earlier in 1999.

Coincidence? I think not. Conspiracy!

Those damn Libertarians!

Biden Credits Himself and Obama For Success In Iraq

In related news, Satan appeared on planet Earth today and credited himself with the founding of Christianity.

Are you freaking kidding me?

I am very optimistic about — about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You’re going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.

I spent — I’ve been there 17 times now. I go about every two months — three months. I know every one of the major players in all the segments of that society. It’s impressed me. I’ve been impressed how they have been deciding to use the political process rather than guns to settle their differences.

Biden and Obama opposed every single aspect of the Iraq War.

Biden and Obama opposed and criticized the Iraq surge.

Biden and Obama farmed every political talking point they could find to oppose the Bush Administration on Iraq.

Biden and Obama continue to bash their predecessors every chance they get.

And now they want to take credit for the success in Iraq???

Oh, but wait!

Sarah Palin has something written on her hand!!!!

Welcome To Bizarro America: Every Single Thing the Left Screamed About Under Bush, They Are Now Embracing Under Obama

Dissent under Bush was patriotic.

Dissent under Obama is a “mob.”

The wars in the middle east under Bush were “treason.” Obama hasn’t ended the wars and needs more troops for Afghanistan.

The left accused Bush of having a “shadow government.” Obama really HAS a shadow government.

Dick Cheney was accused of favoring Halliburton.

Obama really IS favoring General Electric.

Nancy Pelosi lies and  accuses conservative protesters of having nazi signs. Liberal Bush protesters openly acused Bush of being a nazi.

The left accused the Bush Administration of being Big Brother. The Obama Administration is OPENLY acting like Big Brother.

The left is accusing average American citizens of being astroturfers. Obama and his chief advisor David Axelrod are successful because of their expertise in astroturfing.

Bush critics said he was violating the civil rights of American citizens. Obama loyalists want ObamaCare protesters named, photographed and indexed.

Obama, the Democrats and their leftist base are engaging in and embracing EVERY SINGLE THING they falsely accused the Bush Administration of doing, and worse.

Down is up.

Poor is rich.

War is peace.

Elitism is equality.

Lies are truth.

Welcome to Bizarro America.

Isn’t it Great That Obama Gets to Take All the Credit for Success in Iraq?

oraqNo, actually, it isn’t. And many people are noticing this fact.

Doug Powers, writing at Hot Air’s Green Room notes:

“It’s amazing enough that Obama’s entire statement on the successes in Iraq didn’t positively acknowledge the troops or Bush, without whom none of the progress in Iraq that Obama is essentially taking credit for would have been possible…”

A fact that’s lost on many Americans, is that this draw down of the troops is rightly credited to George W. Bush, not Obama. CNN buried that fact down at the bottom of their report:

“The U.S. withdrawal was part of an agreement signed last year between former President George W. Bush’s administration and the Iraq leadership. The agreement calls for all U.S. forces to leave Iraq by the end of 2011.”

Wasn’t it then Senator Obama who opposed the war and the Surge every step of the way?

HotAirPundit has more and video:

“This President does not have a d**n thing to do with Iraq’s success..
This is simply shameless. Remember Bush paid dearly at the ballot box in 2006 for perceived Iraq failure. Today not any mention of Bush who put his Presidency on the line for Victory in Iraq, when everyone was telling him to cut, run and surrender.”

Are Gay People Going To Be Executed In Iraq?

So Says I Hate The Media:

“One would hope this story would sound a very loud alarm in Hollywood: More than 100 prisoners in Iraq face execution after reportedly being convicted of the crime of “being gay.”

“According to Ali Hili of Iraqi-LGBT, Iraq will begin executing them in groups of 20 starting this week. The London-based group believes 128 executions are imminent. They’re asking the UK Government, human rights groups and the UN Human Rights Commission to step in and stop “this tragic miscarriage of justice.”

Hollywood can’t step in to help because Hollywood is too busy with other things:

“Iranian officials have said a Hollywood delegation should say sorry for films viewed as “insulting” to their country.”

“President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s cultural advisor said Iranian film-makers should refuse to meet the group, which includes actress Annette Bening.”

Hollywood is trying to make friends with an enemy to freedom.

Hollywood should shut up until it understands the issues.

Americans should speak up for gay people in Iraq.

Obama Omits Vets of Iraq and Afghanistan From Inaugural Address

In his speech, when mentioning the sacrifice made by American Soldiers, Obama said:

“For us, they fought and died, in places like Concord and Gettysburg; Normandy and Khe Sahn.”

No mention of those who fought and died in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Low. Really low.

I’m not the only one who noticed.
