Dan Rather Says “Obama Couldn’t Sell Watermelons.”

Paging Janeane Garofalo! We anxiously await your denunciation of Dan Rather as a racist. If I may say so, it’s rather deserved. In fact, I’d like every idiot who has wrongly accused tea parties of being racist to speak up right about now…

Rather: “When you talk about a triumph though, part of the undertow in the coming election is going to be President Obama’s leadership and the Republicans are making a case, a lot of independents will buy this argument, listen he just hasn’t been…look at the health care bill, it was his number one priority, it took him forever to get it through and he had to compromise it to death and a version of …listen, he’s a nice person, he’s very articulate, this was going to be used against him but he couldn’t sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic.”

I Can’t Wait to Hear What Janeane Garofalo Has to Say About Harry Reid’s “Negro” Statement

After all, Janeane Garofalo is such an expert authority on racist tea parties and conservatives. How will she spin this?

Washington (CNN) – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (DEMOCRAT) apologized Saturday following reports he had privately described then-candidate Barack Obama during the presidential campaign as a black candidate who could be successful thanks in part to his “light-skinned” appearance and speaking patterns “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.”

Journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann reported the remarks in their new book “Game Change,” which was purchased by CNN Saturday at a Washington-area bookstore. The book is slated for official release next Tuesday.

I’ve checked Garofalo’s Twitter page but it looks like she hasn’t updated it since accusing Republicans of racism back in April of last year.

American Glob’s Main Blogger Shown on Hannity Tonight!

Dear American Glob readers,

This post has two purposes. The first is a call to all Boston area Tea Party participants. Janeane Garofalo is coming to the Somerville Theater on May 8, 2009. If you don’t want to buy a ticket to her show, just show up. Our cause was mentioned on Sean Hannity’s show tonight (see video below) and last week in the Boston Herald.

If you were insulted when Janeane Garofalo called you a “racist” for disliking big government and big government spending, just show up at the Somerville Theater in Davis Square with a sign on May 8, 2009.

The second reason for this post is that I, Aleister, the main blogger here, was shown on Hannity tonight in the same video. I’m the crazy Libertarian in the powdered wig at about 10 seconds into the vid. See you on the 8th of May.

Janeane Garofalo to be Confronted by Tea Party Protesters at her Boston Appearance in May

jg1Ms. Janeane “Tea-Party-Protesters-Are-Just-Racists” Garofalo has a public appearance coming up in the Boston area on May 8, 2009. According to the Boston Herald, she may not be welcomed very warmly…

“It may be no laughing matter when Janeane Garofalo takes the stage at the Somerville Theatre May 8 to do her standup schtick. Because the rabble rousers who staged the tea party protests in Boston earlier this month are planning to focus their wrath on the “24” star for mocking their mission!”

“Fueling the tea party-goers’ ire was Janeane’s appearance on Obama apologist Keith Olbermann’s MSNBC show earlier this month wherein the left-leaning funnygal painted the tax protesters as a bunch of redneck racists.”

“This (bleep) is gonna hear it from Boston,” the anonymous e-mailer said. “All us bigots and racists are buying up tix to let this piece of excrement hear it from us. shame on her.”

Approximately 3,000 people showed up for the Tea Party Protests in Boston on April 15th, an event which was ignored by the Boston Globe but covered by the Boston Herald.

American Glob is based in Boston and we will try to bring you exclusive video coverage of Garofalo’s appearance in May.

VIDEO: Janeane Garofalo On Dissent: Then & Now

Have you heard that Janeane Garofalo has declared all Tea Party participants to be racist white power thugs?

Here’s a great video that points out Ms. G’s stupidity, arrogance and hypocrisy. Mostly hypocrisy.

Thanks to The Right Scoop for the video.

Janeane Garofalo knows all about racism. Remember when she recently referred to RNC Chairman, Michael Steele as “that black guy in the Republican Party?”

Janeaene Garofalo: Conservatives Are Like Hostages, Republican Women Are Like Nazis

More poisonous bile from Janeane Garofolo, the gift that keeps on giving. In the video below, she matches wits with Keith Olbermann who is all too gleeful to listen as she dishes opinions from her liberal, tolerant open mind. At 4:34 she actually refers to RNC Chairman Michael Steele as “that black guy in the Republican Party.” I wonder what the National Black Republican Association would say about that.

Highlights:

2:05 “Most (other) Republicans and Conservatives don’t have self awareness.”

2:19 “He (Limbaugh) really dislikes himself and the type of people that respond to his message have a whole bunch of other problems too.”

3:42 “The type of female that does like Rush is the same type of woman that falls in love with prisoners….. Like Eva Braun. Hitler’s girlfriend. That is exactly the type of woman who responds to Rush.”

4:34 “Michael Steele suffers from Stockholm Syndrome. That black guy in the Republican party. Which means you try to curry favor from the oppressor.”

4:48 “Any female or person of color in the Republican party suffers from Stockholm Syndrome.”

5:45 “He’s (Rush) a hater of humanity and a hater of himself.”

6:17 “Rush Limbaugh will go to his grave unfixed.”

6:32 ” People that cleave onto the conservative message or to the modern day Republican Party, there is something wrong with them.”

7:25 “I’m a far better person than he (Rush) is.”
