Comedy GOLD: Bill O’Reilly Calls His Own Show To Comment On Obama’s Appearance On The View

Bill O’Reilly has been on vacation this week but that didn’t stop him from calling his own FOX News TV show to offer commentary on Obama’s recent spectacular appearance on The View.

FOX News analyst Juan Williams was guest hosting for O’Reilly and fielded the call pretty well. The segment gets off to a slow start but stay with it. If you’re in a hurry, skip ahead to the 7:05 mark to hear Bill O’Reilly’s impersonation of Joy Behar.

Juan Williams Said Nikki Haley Would be the First “Native American” Governor

I was watching the Special Report coverage of the primary elections on FOX News Tuesday night and I thought I heard a weird exchange between Bret Baier and Juan Williams. I initially dismissed it, thinking that I must have been hearing things. I was wrong.

The Wall Street Journal confirms that I’m not hearing voices. Yet. Whew!

Nikki Haley ran far ahead of all other contenders for South Carolina’s Republican gubernatorial nomination, though the official returns give her 48.9%, just shy of a majority, which sets up a runoff against Rep. Gresham Barrett, who got 21.8%. Haley is a woman. She is 38. She is Indian-American, which by some lights makes her nonwhite (although South Asians are “Caucasian” in the traditional racial taxonomy.)

We witnessed an amusing moment on Fox News Channel last night when Juan Williams observed that Haley would be “the first native American governor.” It was left to host Bret Baier to explain the difference between Indian-Americans and American Indians, and also to point out that Louisiana’s Gov. Bobby Jindal (also a 38-year-old Republican, albeit a man–hey nobody’s perfect) is in fact the first Indian-American governor.

NPR Harassing Another One of its Correspondents for Appearing on FOX News

Mara Liasson is an NPR political correspondent who frequently appears as a panelist on the FOX News channel program Special Report. NPR has decided it doesn’t like that.

Mara Liasson“Executives at National Public Radio recently asked the network’s top political correspondent, Mara Liasson, to reconsider her regular appearances on Fox News because of what they perceived as the network’s political bias, two sources familiar with the effort said.”

“According to a source, Liasson was summoned in early October by NPR’s executive editor for news, Dick Meyer, and the network’s supervising senior Washington editor, Ron Elving. The NPR executives said they had concerns that Fox’s programming had grown more partisan, and they asked Liasson to spend 30 days watching the network.”

At a follow-up meeting last month, Liasson reported that she’d seen no significant change in Fox’s programming and planned to continue appearing on the network, the source said.

“NPR’s focus on Liasson’s work as a commentator on Fox’s “Special Report” and “Fox News Sunday” came at about the same time as a White House campaign launched in September to delegitimize the network by painting it as an extension of the Republican Party.”

Back in February of this year, the same exact thing happened to NPR’s Juan Williams.

“Williams brings a valuable viewpoint to NPR. Sometimes it is that of an African-American, but it is also Juan Williamsthat of someone with a long track record of covering politics. Some think he is a conservative because he’s on Fox. Others think Fox uses him as a liberal voice because, whether true or not, a perception exists that NPR is liberal.”

“The assets that make Williams valuable to NPR are his knowledge, his perspective and that he is rarely predictable.”

“But in the end, NPR must decide — as it apparently already has — whether giving its listeners the benefit of Williams’ voice is worth the cost of annoying some listeners for his work on Fox.”

“As a result of this latest flap, NPR’s Vice President of News, Ellen Weiss, has asked Williams to ask that Fox remove his NPR identification whenever he is on O’Reilly.”

The Left Wing Smear Machine Gets Ripped on O’Reilly Again

People are starting to notice the venom regularly spewed forth by America’s radical left Obama supporters.

You know… Like when a Democrat describes Juan Williams using words like “Yousa Massa.”

Or when a Democrat suggests that Juan Williams is performing fellatio on Reagan’s corpse.

Or when a Democrat calls Juan Williams a whore.

Real classy Democrats.

Real classy.

FOX News: Juan Williams Discovers the Viciousness of the American Left

Last month, FOX News contributor and National Public Radio correspondent Juan Williams (an Obama supporter) was urged to stop using his NPR moniker when making appearances on the FOX Network’s program The O”Reilly Factor.

Apparently, the open minded folks who like NPR couldn’t handle Juan Williams making a minor criticism of Michelle Obama.

The management at NPR, an organization funded by taxpayers who are liberal and conservative, told Juan Williams to stop using his NPR credentials when making appearances on FOX News.

Tonight on The O’Reilly Factor, Juan spoke about his trip through liberal land and said that America’s left is vicious and more judgmental than the right. One has to wonder what kind of hate mail he received to make this statement:
