Dem Congresswoman Brings Hired Goon to Town Hall Meeting

Remember back in June when Democrats were afraid to go to town hall meetings?

The latest profile in courage from the ruling party is brought to you by Rep. Melissa Bean (D-IL). Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit has the scoop…

Rep. Melissa Bean (D-IL) brought Bruno the Bone-Crusher with her to a town hall meeting this weekend to threaten constituents. The meeting was held at Round Lake, Illinois Public library on Thursday August 12. The Obamacare-supporting democrat allowed the thug to roam around the room to intimidate constituents from asking questions.

I have to admit I was skeptical until I watched the video below. There’s no second guessing what’s happening here is intimidation, plain and simple.

Liberal Fascism EXPOSED: Liberal Media Conspired to Use Government to Shut Down FOX News

Turns out, pretty much everything you’ve heard about liberal bias in the media is true. The Daily Caller has proof that shows liberal “journalists” conspired to use the government to shut down FOX News.

God forbid there’s ONE news network in America that appeals to conservatives…

The very existence of Fox News, meanwhile, sends Journolisters into paroxysms of rage. When Howell Raines charged that the network had a conservative bias, the members of Journolist discussed whether the federal government should shut the channel down.

“I am genuinely scared” of Fox, wrote Guardian columnist Daniel Davies, because it “shows you that a genuinely shameless and unethical media organisation *cannot* be controlled by any form of peer pressure or self-regulation, and nor can it be successfully cold-shouldered or ostracised. In order to have even a semblance of control, you need a tough legal framework.” Davies, a Brit, frequently argued the United States needed stricter libel laws.

“I agree,” said Michael Scherer of Time Magazine. Roger “Ailes understands that his job is to build a tribal identity, not a news organization. You can’t hurt Fox by saying it gets it wrong, if Ailes just uses the criticism to deepen the tribal identity.”

Jonathan Zasloff, a law professor at UCLA, suggested that the federal government simply yank Fox off the air. “Do you really want the political parties/white house picking which media operations are news operations and which are a less respectable hybrid of news and political advocacy?”

But Zasloff stuck to his position. “I think that they are doing that anyway; they leak to whom they want to for political purposes,” he wrote. “If this means that some White House reporters don’t get a press pass for the press secretary’s daily briefing and that this means that they actually have to, you know, do some reporting and analysis instead of repeating press releases, then I’ll take that risk.”

Scherer seemed alarmed. “So we would have press briefings in which only media organizations that are deemed by the briefer to be acceptable are invited to attend?”

John Judis, a senior editor at the New Republic, came down on Zasloff’s side, the side of censorship. “Pre-Fox,” he wrote, “I’d say Scherer’s questions made sense as a question of principle. Now it is only tactical.”

I want to know if the Obama Administration was in on this.

Remember the fall of 2009 when the White House attacked FOX News, saying it wasn’t a real news organization? Where did that idea come from?

Could this Journolist scandal be worse than Watergate? Yes it can.

See the video below from fall 2009 where former Obama Communications Director Anita Dunn, a big fan of Chairman Mao, accuses FOX News of being an arm of the Republican Party.

Projection much, Anita?

Woody Allen on Obama “It would be good if he could be a dictator for a few years.”

I’m sure Woody would have felt the same way if McCain had won. Right?

Woody Allen has a strange take on the democracy that allowed him to become rich and famous. The “Scoop” director said it would be a cool idea for President Barack Obama to be dictator for for a few years.

Why? So he could get things done without all the hassle of opposing views getting in the way.

In an interview published by Spanish language newspaper La Vanguardia (that we translated), Allen says “I am pleased with Obama. I think he’s brilliant. The Republican Party should get out of his way and stop trying to hurt him.”

The director said “it would be good…if he could be a dictator for a few years because he could do a lot of good things quickly.”

Gosh, Woody Allen is just full of great ideas this month, isn’t he?

Who Needs Jobs? We Need to Focus on Important Things Like Statehood for Puerto Rico!

Who really cares that massive unemployment continues to loom?

There are more urgent matters at hand! So urgent, you probably haven’t even heard about them. Puerto Rico needs to become the 51st state in the USA! Even if the people of Puerto Rico have rejected this idea repeatedly…

This bill attempts to rig the voting process and denies the American people a real say on the issue of whether they want to allow Puerto Rico to be granted statehood.  The fact of the matter is that Puerto Ricans have rejected statehood numerous times and this bill seems to have been written in a way to fast track statehood without a majority of Puerto Ricans favoring the idea.  Furthermore, the people of the United States should be allowed a vote on whether they want to admit Puerto Rico as a new state.  If the people of Puerto Rico can vote, the people of the United States should have a vote.

Why would the Obama Administration and the Democrats push such a measure out of the blue, you ask? Simple. They know they’re screwed in November and they desperately need to add new voters to their base…

Ordinary citizens have already been hit in the past year with an unconstitutional takeover by the federal government of our health-care system. Americans have watched with growing frustration and anger as the president and his party have exponentially grown the government, the federal budget, and the country’s debt in a completely unsustainable manner with seemingly no concern over the future economic wellbeing of the country. Now those same citizens are faced with a manipulative bill that political observers will recognize as designed to create millions of new votes at a time when certain political actors fear their election prospects are diminishing. This is nothing more than a transparent attempt to rig election rules to favor the outcome they want.

The Democrats in Washington, DC care about one thing only – staying in power. Everything else takes a back seat. The economy, jobs, national security, the will of the people, etc.

They plan to handle the 2010 and 2012 elections the same way they handled ObamaCare. If the voters disagree, they’ll just go around them.

Our Constitution be damned.

The Democrats need Puerto Rico. Get ready to be called a racist if you disagree.

Liberty Died While You Slept

Good morning, America. Liberty died while you slept last night.

Against your will, the United States Senate voted for cloture on ObamaCare at 1 AM on December 21, 2009. They didn’t meet last night to create jobs. They didn’t meet last night for the economy. They didn’t meet last night for national security.

They met last night to take away your liberty.

Below, you can see the video of the 58 Democrats and 2 Independents who voted AYE, as well as the 40 Republicans who voted NO.

Readers: If you’re a Democrat and you think this is good news, I suggest you check in with Markos Moulitsas.

Enjoy the end of your liberty, America.

NPR Harassing Another One of its Correspondents for Appearing on FOX News

Mara Liasson is an NPR political correspondent who frequently appears as a panelist on the FOX News channel program Special Report. NPR has decided it doesn’t like that.

Mara Liasson“Executives at National Public Radio recently asked the network’s top political correspondent, Mara Liasson, to reconsider her regular appearances on Fox News because of what they perceived as the network’s political bias, two sources familiar with the effort said.”

“According to a source, Liasson was summoned in early October by NPR’s executive editor for news, Dick Meyer, and the network’s supervising senior Washington editor, Ron Elving. The NPR executives said they had concerns that Fox’s programming had grown more partisan, and they asked Liasson to spend 30 days watching the network.”

At a follow-up meeting last month, Liasson reported that she’d seen no significant change in Fox’s programming and planned to continue appearing on the network, the source said.

“NPR’s focus on Liasson’s work as a commentator on Fox’s “Special Report” and “Fox News Sunday” came at about the same time as a White House campaign launched in September to delegitimize the network by painting it as an extension of the Republican Party.”

Back in February of this year, the same exact thing happened to NPR’s Juan Williams.

“Williams brings a valuable viewpoint to NPR. Sometimes it is that of an African-American, but it is also Juan Williamsthat of someone with a long track record of covering politics. Some think he is a conservative because he’s on Fox. Others think Fox uses him as a liberal voice because, whether true or not, a perception exists that NPR is liberal.”

“The assets that make Williams valuable to NPR are his knowledge, his perspective and that he is rarely predictable.”

“But in the end, NPR must decide — as it apparently already has — whether giving its listeners the benefit of Williams’ voice is worth the cost of annoying some listeners for his work on Fox.”

“As a result of this latest flap, NPR’s Vice President of News, Ellen Weiss, has asked Williams to ask that Fox remove his NPR identification whenever he is on O’Reilly.”

QUESTION: What Do Democrats Do When They Can’t Defend The Failure of Their Elected Leaders?

ANSWER: They attack the people they perceive to be the leaders of their opposition. Even if they’re not elected officials.

As the left finds itself unable to defend Barack Obama’s decision to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan, they’re in a desperate scramble to somehow blame ANYONE but Obama for the decision.

Who are the most obvious targets? To whom can the left quickly assign blame for the failure of their elected leaders?

(pant-pant-pant)

Aha!

PALIN!!!!!!

BECK!!!!!!!!

Pay no attention to the economy, unemployment or the wars, America!

(pant, pant, pant)

Sarah Palin has a retarded son!

Glenn Beck didn’t sell alot of movie tickets!

THAT’S the real problem with America.

Ignore the fact that Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck aren’t elected officials with no power in American government. Ignore the fact that Obama is the President of the United States. Ignore the fact that Nancy Pelosi runs the House of Representatives. Ignore the fact that Harry Reid runs the United States Senate.

It’s all Palin and Beck’s fault!

It’s all Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck’s fault!!!

6 Pages to Found a Nation and 1,900 Pages to Destroy it

This bill has nothing to do with compassion. This is about power and the lengths Pelosi and the Democrats will go to get it, to the ultimate ruin of us all.

The Constitution of the United States, our most sacred national document is six pages long. Six.

Nancy Pelosi’s new healthcare monstrosity is one thousand and nine hundred pages long. You can see it here. If you take a couple weeks off work you can read it too.

The Democrats created this beast behind closed doors and unveiled it today at an event in a public space which they opened only to their supporters.

A staffer for Republican Congressman Eric Cantor was even turned away by a Capital Hill cop who said she was under orders from the Speaker’s office to bar him from the event. Sound unbelievable? Here’s the video:

They were secretive about the bill’s creation and they’re being exclusive about who can attend the unveiling.

Yet we are to believe that they are acting in the interest of all the citizens of America.

This bill has nothing to do with compassion. This is about power and the lengths Pelosi and the Democrats will go to get it, to the ultimate ruin of us all.
