David Limbaugh raises a good question and ultimately answers it himself.

While President Obama has touted himself as a post-racial president, he has built a record demonstrating precisely the opposite. Is it Obama’s bitterness, or is the incessant playing of the race card by him and many of his supporters merely calculated political exploitation — or both?

Let’s look at a non-exhaustive list of examples since Obama took office.

–Feb. 18, 2009: Obama’s attorney general, Eric Holder, accused the nation of being a nation of cowards on race.

–April 2009: NewsBusters reported that at the behest of the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters, Democratic Federal Communications Commission Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein demanded a government inquiry into how the electronic Portable People Meter (used to measure radio ratings and which experts believe to be a far more reliable measure than the previous system) collects data. Obama’s FCC indeed ordered an inquiry in the name of “diversity” because under the modern system, hip-hop ratings had declined and conservative talk ratings had increased.

–May 2009: White House press secretary Robert Gibbs warned critics of Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor to measure their words carefully, implying they were race-based.

–May 2009: The Obama-Holder Justice Department dismissed a case against New Black Panther Party members for voter intimidation, even though it had already won the case. Former Justice lawyer J. Christian Adams said that the NAACP lobbied Obama to have the case dismissed and that the case was dismissed based on the Justice Department’s outrageous policy of not prosecuting such cases against blacks when they involve white victims.

–July 2009: Not having heard all the facts, Obama accused Cambridge, Mass., police of “acting stupidly” in arresting a friend of his, Harvard professor Henry Gates, for disorderly conduct, dangling race as a motive for the arrest.

–August 2009: The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights raised constitutional questions about the Obama administration’s giving preferential treatment to minority students for scholarships and favoring medical schools that have records of sending graduates to areas with inadequate health care services.

–September 2009: A video surfaced of Obama’s “green jobs czar,” Van Jones, saying, “You’ve never seen a Columbine done by a black child.” It’s “suburbanite white kids” who do it.

Things aren’t looking good for Florida Governor Charlie Crist. His rival for the Republican nomination in the Florida senate race, Marco Rubio, is now leading by 18 points. Wow!

TALLAHASSEE — The Florida Chamber rolled out its latest poll for members today at their annual Capitol Days meeting, and it’s yet more bad news for Gov. Charlie Crist.

The poll supposedly found Marco Rubio up 48-30 over Crist in the U.S. Senate primary. Back in October, the chamber’s usually trustworthy surveying found Crist leading Rubio 44-30.

This might explain why brain dead talking heads such as MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch are already sharpening their claws for attack. Witness the network which loves to accuse people of racism as they allow a commentator to refer to Marco Rubio as a “coconut” which is a racist term meaning brown on the outside and white on the inside. Classy.

UPDATE: Deutsch apologizes for using the “coconut” slur.

Talking Points Memo, a lefty Obama worshiping blog is suddenly concerned about the political race card. Why? Because the black man they perceive to be playing said card is Republican Chairman Michael Steele.

You see, it’s only racism when Conservatives/Republicans/Libertarians point out the hypocrisy of the left.

While I’m on this thread, let me point out that a genius from the Huffington Post named Matt Osborne penned a piece today which downplays Obama’s propaganda partnership with the NEA.

“Nevertheless, Courrielche argues that since art groups accept grants from the NEA, the NEA is “tainting the creative process by encouraging the art community to address highly controversial political issues.” Which is odd, since there’s nothing controversial about the 9/11 Day of Service — unless, of course, you happen to be a member of the Ayn Rand cult, or you think the day would best be used to inspire hatred and fear of brown people.”

Hatred and fear of “brown people?”

You scumbag. You hateful, fear politicking, scumbag.

You sir, are the racist. You sir, are the one who is trying to inspire fear and hatred based solely on race and purely for the furtherance of a political agenda. It is disgusting and you should be ashamed.

Mr. Osborne mentions in his bio: Matt Osborne has been blogging forever but has yet to see his first check from George Soros. Let me explain that for you Matt… You see the capitalist who owns the Huffington Post is keeping all of the capital for herself.

And by the way, I assume by the “Ayn Rand Cult” remark, that you were referring to Libertarians since you linked the term to Reason Magazine. I find it ironic when Obama supporters talk about “cults.”

The man in question is Mr. Harry Alford, the Chairman of the National Black Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Alford finds “Senator” Boxer’s insinuations insulting. Can you blame him? Dan Riehl put it perfectly. Barbara Boxer is essentially saying “But you’re black.”

You’ll notice she never insists he should refer to her as “Senator” despite the fact that he repeatedly calls her Ma’am. Mr. Alford is respectful and completely within his rights. Senator Boxer didn’t feel that way when she was dealing with the American Military though. Remember that debacle?

She just insists that since she has the NAACP in her pocket, that naturally Mr. Alford should agree with her. After all, he’s black and black people can’t survive without liberal Democrats. Right? RIGHT?

I seem to remember reading something about the old school ties the Democrats have to racism. Where did I read that?

Oh yeah, it was at the website for the National Black Republican Association.

I didn’t want to watch this video because I knew Barbara Boxer would make me sick. I was glad after watching it though, because I was so impressed by Mr. Alford who, by the way, is a veteran of the United States Army.

Dear Mr. Alford,

Sir, thank you for your service to America and congratulations on your success in life. You deserve our country’s highest admiration and respect.

UPDATE: What’s a “repiggie?”

The only reason I ask is because commenters at Think Progress are insisting that Mr. Alford is a “repiggie.”

Here are a few choice comments from Think Progress…

“Alford is a good little repiggie, and was trotted out by the nervous repiggie white guys in the Senate just to show how “racially enlightened” the repiggies are.”

“Our little trolly roller is typical of the disease infecting the repiggie ranks. His crowd has destroyed whatever credibility that party ever had. Monica Conyers, the president of the Detroit City Council and wife of US Rep. John Conyers ( A Democrat – as if you had to ask) is a racist. Let me put that in bold type for you….

Members of People for Ethical Treatment of Animals are running out of things to protest. They showed up Monday at a dog show in New York handing out brochures that read “The KKK and the AKC BFF?” If you’re not up on your abbreviations, that translates to The Ku Klux Klan and The American Kennel Club Best Friends Forever?

So do you get the message dog lovers? You’re now the moral equivalent of Klan members.

The protest was mostly peaceful but obviously confusing:

“Most passers-by seemed more puzzled than offended, though those who didn’t stop walked away thinking they really had seen the KKK. The most common reaction was to pull out a cell phone and start snapping photos.

Police monitored the situation from nearby, but the scene was mostly calm. One shouting match broke out during the hour-long protest.

Earlier, a man strode away yelling, “That’s disgusting! I’m going to buy more fur!”

Way to go PETA. You’ve reached an astounding new low.

Behold PETA’s descent into total madness. Bear in mind PETA’s argument: They are equating dog breeding with the NAZIs and their goal to create a “master race.”

PETA is apparently unaware that many dog breeds would have become extinct without the help of dog breeders.
