Politico published an incredibly stupid piece today in which writers Meredith Shiner and Glenn Thrush ponder the GOP’s “women problem.”

The article suggests that Conservatives rejected NY-23 candidate Dede Scozzafava based on her gender.

“Conservatives say they pushed Dede Scozzafava out of the House race in New York’s 23rd District a week ago because of her left-of-Republican social views — and not because she is a woman.”

Robert Stacy McCain, in top form as usual, called out Politico’s laughable hypocrisy:

“Why is it that only pro-choice liberals count as “women”? It’s as if Phyllis Schlafly, Bay Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham and Michelle Malkin were un-persons.”

Let me add to that list, Conservative women such as S.E. Cupp, Andrea Tantaros, Monique Stewart, Amanda Carpenter and Mary Katherine Hamm.

I would also like to point you to a Politico article from June of 2009 where writer Jonathan Martin said of Governor Sarah Palin:

“Going forward, does she offer a conservative and charismatic face for a demoralized and star-less party? Or is she a loose cannon who should be consigned to the tabloids where she can reside in perpetuity with other flash-in-the-pan sensations?”

It’s interesting to note  that at the time of this writing, a quick scan of Politico’s “About Us” page shows that male staff members outnumber females by 69 to 40.

Conservatives know all too well, the horrors of misogyny and none of us will ever forget the way the left treated Sarah Palin or for that matter Hillary Clinton who was vilified by many in her own party until she no longer presented a threat to The One.

To this day, Sarah Palin and her family are regularly attacked by noted gynocolegist/obstetrician blogger Andrew Sullivan who is grossly obsessed with Governor Palin’s infant son, Trig.

Sullivan announced today that he is releasing a coffee table book called “The View From Your Window.”

Sarah Palin supporters, conservatives and defenders of women are calling on CBS to fire David Letterman over the comments he made last week regarding Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and her 14 year old daughter.

The group’s website FireDavidLetterman.com is planning for a mass protest in front of the Ed Sullivan Theater in Manhattan where Letterman’s show is taped on Tuesday June 16th at 4:30 pm.

The group’s site also lists the names and phone numbers of CBS executives as well as the names and phone numbers of executives for companies that advertise during Letterman’s show.

Sucks to be you Dave. It could be worse though. Imagine if you had made these jokes about the Obama family. You’d probably already be in jail.

Chad Michael Morisette of West Hollywood, an Obama supporter who stirred controversy last fall when he displayed an effigy of Sarah Palin dangling from a noose on the front of his house, is trying to sell his hanged Palin effigy on eBay.

What a stunning tribute to the inauguration of Barack Obama, the first African American president who is assuming office one day after Martin Luther King Day….

The auction item was removed from eBay tonight but luckily, we took screen shots. Click the images below to enlarge.

And finally, here’s the profile page for Chad Michael Morisette. On eBay, he calls himself “never before never again.” Ironic, considering he is lynching an effigy of a woman for fun, his own personal politics, profit and hatred.

You might think the media would cover this as a front page story if someone was trying to sell an effigy of Obama dangling from a noose on eBay.

Let’s hope the American media will give the same consideration to Governor Sarah Palin and women the world over.

Furthermore, the editors and share holders of Ms. Magazine should be ashamed of themselves for not speaking out on the numerous acts of violence against women perpetrated by supporters of Barack Obama.

Ms. Magazine’s “ABOUT” page says the following:

“Ms. continues to be an award-winning magazine recognized nationally and internationally as the media expert on issues relating to women’s status, women’s rights, and women’s points of view.”

In light of the facts presented above, Ms. Magazine’s choice of Obama and his campaign as a “step forward” for feminism is a disgrace which flies in the face of all who believe in equal rights for women.

Or insane. Take a look at the cover of the newest issue of Ms. magazine:

Yup, you read it right. The shirt Obama is wearing says “This is what a feminist looks like.”

Well Ms. magazine, I have news for you. In the words of Obama, you can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still just a pig.

Perhaps the “feminists” over at Ms. magazine didn’t hear that Obama used a song at a campaign event that included the line “I got 99 problems but a BITCH ain’t one.”

I’m guessing no one at Ms. saw any Obama supporters wearing these t-shirts:

And maybe no one at Ms. magazine caught that little story about Obama supporters wearing t-shirts that said “Sarah Palin is a c–t.”

I watched every bit of election coverage I possibly could and you know I never once heard Obama denounce the shirts or any of the other examples of misogyny that took place during the election.

So to Ms. magazine I say this. If Obama is your idea of a feminist, I’d hate to see what you call anti-woman.
