Left wing idiots have been blogging to the rooftops for months about all the supposed threats on the life of President Obama. Funny thing is, there hasn’t been an attack on President Obama’s life. Why? Because conservatives – even though they disagree with Obama’s policies – respect the fact that he is the President of the United States.
“BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (FOX 9) – A man was arrested for throwing tomatoes at Sarah Palin during her book signing on Monday at the Mall of America.”
“Jeremy Olson, 33, allegedly threw two tomatoes from the second balcony, however did not come close to hitting Palin.”
“Bloomington Police report that Bloomington Commander Mark Stehlik was struck in the face with one of the tomatoes and may face charges for assaulting a police officer. Olson was booked at the Bloomington jail. He was arrested for suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct.”
Classy. I hope Democrats are proud of their violent, hateful progeny.
The leader of the birther movement is Andrew Sullivan, a British citizen and blogger who has been living in the United States for years, trying to influence American politics despite the fact that he – unlike Sarah Palin – is not an American citizen and can’t vote in American elections.
American leftists are quick to cry foul when they see any combination of religion and politics on the conservative side, but it’s a different story if religion can be used to promote their agenda.
Case in point? Liberals recently held faith based “prayer vigils” in favor of ObamaCare at Senator Joe Lieberman’s house in Connecticut…
“A growing number Connecticut’s religious leaders are calling on Sen. Joe Lieberman to appeal to a higher power and change his mind about including a public option in a health care reform bill. Last night, hundreds of reform supporters from congregations across the state held a candlelight vigil outside Lieberman’s home in Stamford, CT.”
On Sunday, members of the Connecticut faith community staged a candlelight vigil outside Sen. Joe Lieberman’s home in Connecticut. The Stamford Advocate reported, “clergy from several religious dominations prayed in three languages outside the fourth-term senator’s home, surrounded by a crowd the Fire Marshal’s Office estimated to number nearly 500.”
“This has to send a potent message to Lieberman. The symbolism is simply stunning. Rabbis protesting outside Joe Lieberman’s home in Stamford? Dan Malloy? Who thought they’d ever see this happening?”
“Over 500 clergy, parishioners, and residents attended a prayer vigil outside the Stamford home of Sen. Joe Lieberman last night to protest the senator’s promise to block a vote on health care reform.”
“More than 400 Connecticut residents, health care reform advocates, and clergy attended an evening prayer vigil that began at Senator Joe Lieberman’s Alma Mater, Stamford High School.”
This is a typical double standard which everyone remembers from the 2008 presidential election.
“Three months before she was thrust into the national political spotlight, Gov. Sarah Palin was asked to handle a much smaller task: addressing the graduating class of commission students at her one-time church, Wasilla Assembly of God. Speaking before the Pentecostal church, Palin painted the current war in Iraq as a messianic affair in which the United States could act out the will of the Lord.”
“Of all the strange features of this presidential race, the tarnishing of Barack Obama has got to be the most ridiculous. First Obama was accused of anti-religious elitism. Then he was accused of identifying with the underclass anger of his spiritual mentor. Excuse me, but which is it? Start with Obama’s turbulent preacher. Yes, Jeremiah Wright says some disgraceful things. But can anyone explain how that changes Obama’s qualities as a candidate?”
You guys on the left have no business holding “prayer vigils” for ObamaCare or anything else for that matter.
Don’t think this will be forgotten when you’re thrown out of power.
Andrew Sullivan is not a United States citizen. Where does he get off using the term “WE” in a post about the President of the United States? Obama is not Andrew Sullivan’s president.
As much as Andrew Sullivan would hate to admit it, the politician who rules his world is Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
A more appropriate title for Sullivan’s Obama-love post would be “YOUHave a President.”
Sullivan’s attempt to insinuate himself as an American -which he is not- is akin to an American pundit suggesting that “WE Have a Queen” in Elizabeth II.
Unfortunately for Andrew Sullivan, “WE” Americans are not ruled by a queen.
The new TV series “V”, which is actually a remake of a 1980’s miniseries, debuts tonight on ABC at 8 pm. While the series will follow the storyline of the original – aliens come to Earth looking like nice people but turn out to be people eating lizards – the remake has a rather “yes we can” flavor to it.
“Imagine this. At a time of political turmoil, a charismatic, telegenic new leader arrives virtually out of nowhere. He offers a message of hope and reconciliation based on compromise and promises to marshal technology for a better future that will include universal health care.”
“The news media swoons in admiration — one simpering anchorman even shouts at a reporter who asks a tough question: “Why don’t you show some respect?!!” The public is likewise smitten, except for a few nut cases who circulate batty rumors on the Internet about the leader’s origins and intentions. The leader, undismayed, offers assurances that are soothing, if also just a tiny bit condescending: “Embracing change is never easy.”
“So, does that sound like anyone you know? Oh, wait — did I mention the leader is secretly a totalitarian space lizard who’s come here to eat us?”
“Welcome to ABC’s V, the final, the most fascinating and bound to be the most controversial new show of the fall television season. Nominally a rousing sci-fi space opera about alien invaders bent on the conquest (and digestion) of all humanity, it’s also a barbed commentary on Obamamania that will infuriate the president’s supporters and delight his detractors.”
And right on cue, the ever snarky Obama-loving gossip site Gawker is already denouncing the show.
“…There’s even a religious rebel named Father Jack, which is basically an anagram of George W. Bush.”
“The birthers will be lapping up a show about a foreign-born president who comes to snatch society out of their clutches, and Glenn Back (spelling anyone?) and his cronies will love to see a media that is overtaken by liberals and keeps the truth away from the “real Americans.” But what will everyone else think?”
“We find it hard to believe that thinly-veiIed conservative propaganda will find a strong foothold with the core sci-fi audience, and as for those leaning to the right, they tend to like their entertainment much more straightforward.”
But the real money quote from Gawker comes at the end…
“Our prognosis, keep picking on the president and the only letters that V will get are D.O.A.”
Awww. Does it make you angwy when people make fun of the pwesident, Bwian?
“It’s not even noon on the West Coast and already Capitol Hill staffers say they’re getting nonstop calls from constituents in support of President Barack Obama’s health insurance reform. At about 2:15 EST, Organizing for America (OFA) surpassed it’s goal of 100,000 phone calls to Congress, each one imploring representatives to vote for reform.”
“The nationwide “Time to Deliver on Health Reform” event is the most massive outpouring of support from Obama supporters since Election Day 2008.”
Tea Partyers organize and they’re denounced as astroturf. Obots do it and then announce how proud they are of it.
“The take-no-prisoners turn has come as a surprise to some in the press, considering the largely favorable coverage that candidate Obama received last fall and given the President’s vows to lower the rhetorical temperature in Washington and not pay attention to cable hyperbole. Instead, the White House blog now issues regular denunciations of the Administration’s critics, including a recent post that announced “Fox lies” and suggested that the cable network was unpatriotic for criticizing Obama’s 2016 Olympics effort.”
Talking Points Memo, a lefty Obama worshiping blog is suddenly concerned about the political race card. Why? Because the black man they perceive to be playing said card is Republican Chairman Michael Steele.
You see, it’s only racism when Conservatives/Republicans/Libertarians point out the hypocrisy of the left.
“Nevertheless, Courrielche argues that since art groups accept grants from the NEA, the NEA is “tainting the creative process by encouraging the art community to address highly controversial political issues.” Which is odd, since there’s nothing controversial about the 9/11 Day of Service — unless, of course, you happen to be a member of the Ayn Rand cult, or you think the day would best be used to inspire hatred and fear of brown people.”
Hatred and fear of “brown people?”
You scumbag. You hateful, fear politicking, scumbag.
You sir, are the racist. You sir, are the one who is trying to inspire fear and hatred based solely on race and purely for the furtherance of a political agenda. It is disgusting and you should be ashamed.
Mr. Osborne mentions in his bio: Matt Osborne has been blogging forever but has yet to see his first check from George Soros. Let me explain that for you Matt… You see the capitalist who owns the Huffington Post is keeping all of the capital for herself.
The NEA is FTFO (freaking the fuck out) because Courrielche recorded the call and played excerpts of it on Glenn Beck today. The NEA is actually denying the facts now. Courrielche has written a new follow-up piece you should read called UPDATE: What the NEA Says Vs. Documented Facts. The piece contains screen captures of official emails and new art propaganda created under the new “plan.”

ABOUT the name... American Glob is a pretty silly name for a conservative leaning libertarian blog, isn't it? There's a reason for that. A long time ago, American Glob was a parody news site. With the country in its present state, I no longer have to make stuff up. Capiche?
