Classy! Family Guy Takes Shots at Sarah Palin by Making Fun of People With Down’s Syndrome

There’s no low too low for the left when it comes to Palin Derangement Syndrome but Family Guy gets the latest prize.

On a side note, Cracked.com has a new article which explains how Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane creates “new” TV shows.

When Did Roger Ebert Become Such an Asshole?

My apologies for the profanity in the title but there’s just no other way to say it. Roger Ebert has become a real major asshole and I don’t think I know when it happened.

When I was a kid, Roger Ebert was a chubby likable guy who sat in a TV studio made to look like a movie theater audience and talked about movies with his now deceased business partner Gene Siskel.

The Roger Ebert of today is a venomous victim of Bush Derangement Syndrome, Palin Derangement Syndrome and Tea Party Hatred Disorder all wrapped up in one. Does he even care about movies anymore?

Today, Ebert snidely Tweeted out: Tea-Baggers: How do you score on this civics and literacy test?

When Scott Brown won the Massachusetts senate race, Ebert obnoxiously Twittered: Massachusetts to Teddy: “F–k You.”

On January 14th, Ebert published an article in which he suggested Rush Limbaugh should be “horse whipped.”

“You should be horse-whipped for the insult you have paid to the highest office of our nation.”

Who is this asshole and what has he done with Roger Ebert the film critic?

Pam Meister at Big Hollywood notes that Ebert is alienating many of his own fans.

Did Ebert stop to consider how many of those ”teabaggers” might be Ebert fans who follow him on Twitter? I wonder how many of them read his movie reviews for guidance on their entertainment choices. But like so many of the entertainment world elite, if you disagree with him, you’re a dumbkopf who deserves to be insulted, regardless of whether or not you are a consumer of his product.

David Horowitz of NewsRealBlog notices that Ebert’s politics have even worked their way into his reviews.

But like the rest of the liberal press since the Bush Administration, Ebert has become more openly partisan, and his reviews—still published under the aegis of the Chicago Sun Times and syndicated to places which have eliminated film critics like my hometown newspaper The Flint Journal– are often nothing but political lectures.

There are many times when someone can “dial it back” when they realize they’ve gone too far. I don’t think Ebert has any plans to do that but it wouldn’t matter for me anyway.

I don’t know what happened to Roger.

Thumbs down.

Politico’s “Women Problem”

Politico publiushed an incredibly stupid piece today in which writers Meredith Shiner and Glenn Thrush ponder the GOP's "women problem." The article suggests that Conservatives rejected NY-23 candidate Dede Scozzafava based on her gender.

Politico published an incredibly stupid piece today in which writers Meredith Shiner and Glenn Thrush ponder the GOP’s “women problem.”

The article suggests that Conservatives rejected NY-23 candidate Dede Scozzafava based on her gender.

“Conservatives say they pushed Dede Scozzafava out of the House race in New York’s 23rd District a week ago because of her left-of-Republican social views — and not because she is a woman.”

Robert Stacy McCain, in top form as usual, called out Politico’s laughable hypocrisy:

“Why is it that only pro-choice liberals count as “women”? It’s as if Phyllis Schlafly, Bay Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham and Michelle Malkin were un-persons.”

Let me add to that list, Conservative women such as S.E. Cupp, Andrea Tantaros, Monique Stewart, Amanda Carpenter and Mary Katherine Hamm.

I would also like to point you to a Politico article from June of 2009 where writer Jonathan Martin said of Governor Sarah Palin:

“Going forward, does she offer a conservative and charismatic face for a demoralized and star-less party? Or is she a loose cannon who should be consigned to the tabloids where she can reside in perpetuity with other flash-in-the-pan sensations?”

It’s interesting to note  that at the time of this writing, a quick scan of Politico’s “About Us” page shows that male staff members outnumber females by 69 to 40.

Conservatives know all too well, the horrors of misogyny and none of us will ever forget the way the left treated Sarah Palin or for that matter Hillary Clinton who was vilified by many in her own party until she no longer presented a threat to The One.

To this day, Sarah Palin and her family are regularly attacked by noted gynocolegist/obstetrician blogger Andrew Sullivan who is grossly obsessed with Governor Palin’s infant son, Trig.

Sullivan announced today that he is releasing a coffee table book called “The View From Your Window.”

The only photo that didn’t make it into the book is the view from Andrew Sullivan’s window. In an American Glob exclusive, we have obtained that photo and can share it with you now:

Trig Palin

Finally, here’s further proof that Allahpundit likes me.

Lest there be any question… I like Robert Stacy McCain.

Will Palin Derangement Syndrome be Covered by ObamaCare?

If Progressives want to make a good case for ObamaCare to Conservatives, all they need do is promise to include a provision for the swift effective treatment of Palin Derangement Syndrome.

Of course there would be long lines and hospital ERs would be flooded, but in the end it would be worth it to see a headline on the front page of the New York Times that said something like “Progressives Warming to Palin.”

To prove there is a need for treatment of the aforementioned malady, one need look no further than the following long suffering patients:

Sarah Palin Spits on the Legacy of Eunice Shriver – The Huffington Post

Sarah’s Ghoulish Carousel – Maureen Dowd, NYT

Of course, there are more but we don’t want to link to them.

Palin Derangement Syndrome outbreaks seem to occur with more ferocity whenever she speaks out on an issue but this week we may witness an epidemic given headlines like these:

PALIN WINS

“The first we heard about Sarah Palin’s “death panels” comment was in a conversation last Friday with an acquaintance who was appalled by it. Our interlocutor is not a Democratic partisan but a high-minded centrist who deplores extremist rhetoric whatever the source. We don’t even know if he has a position on ObamaCare. From his description, it sounded to us as though Palin really had gone too far.”

“A week later, it is clear that she has won the debate.”

SCORE ONE FOR SARAH PALIN ON HEALTHCARE REFORM

“In what can fairly be described as an admission that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin knew what she was talking about, the Senate Finance Committee Thursday dropped language from its bipartisan healthcare reform package that Palin and others had suggested would eventually lead to mandated end-of-life counseling sessions for seniors.”

PALIN OUTSMARTS MEDIA ON OBAMACARE

“While the White House and health care reform advocates are spending millions of dollars trying to sell ObamaCare to the public, all Sarah Palin had to do was publish five paragraphs on her Facebook page to get all kinds of media attention.  The result was that the public became even more alarmed about the “end of life”  provision in the proposed HR 3200.”

Obama and his supporters still have a chance to pass ObamaCare. They’ll help their cause if they promise to treat PDS.

Funny. Didn’t the liberal media and the beltway geniuses tell us just a few weeks ago that Sarah Palin was finished, ruined and irrelevant for resigning as Governor of Alaska?

A few posts on her Facebook page and the woman changed the national dialogue and the proposed legislation.

She wields an astounding amount of influence for someone who is “irrelevant.”
