HillBuzz is a PUMA blog written by two gay men in Chicago. I’m so impressed by their courage as bloggers. It took courage to reach the conclusions they describe in their amazing post and further courage to publish it.

Being Dems, these guys spent a lot of time over the years making fun of George W. Bush. All that changed last week when George and Laura Bush quietly visited Fort Hood to comfort American soldiers.

The amazing post at Hillbuzz begins:

“We know absolutely no one in Bush family circles and have never met former President George W. Bush or his wife Laura.”

“If you have been reading us for any length of time, you know that we used to make fun of “Dubya” nearly every day…parroting the same comedic bits we heard in our Democrat circles, where Bush is still, to this day, lampooned as a chimp, a bumbling idiot, and a poor, clumsy public speaker.”

“Oh, how we RAILED against Bush in 2000…and how we RAILED against the surge in support Bush received post-9/11 when he went to Ground Zero and stood there with his bullhorn in the ruins on that hideous day.”

Patriotic dissent is alive and well in the United States.

Tea Parties are springing up all over the country to protest Obama’s massive Pork Bill and Pajamas Media has even created a resource page to help people plan events.

Michelle Malkin has put together a wealth of documentation, photos and information on her site.

Chicago residents are planning a Tea Party on February 27th and organizers report tremendous interest. Heck the Chicago Tribune is even writing about it. Their official website is HERE.

In fact, Tea Parties are planned for February 27th in thirteen American cities. Get INVOLVED!

American citizens owe a great debt to Rick Santelli for his now famous “rant heard around the world.”

Want to know how serious this is? Politico’s top story last night was “Obama’s Test: A Nation of Santellis.”

Don’t think for a minute that this is going unnoticed by the White House.

All things considered, it’s probably been a while since you studied fifth grade level American history. Here’s a little something to refresh your memory about taxation, revolution and tea parties.

Politico is reporting that Can’t-Move-On-dot-org is stoking the flame war between Obama and Rush Limbaugh.

After denouncing what they called “the politics of fear” for eight years, they’re now saying to America, “Are you with us or against us?”

Well, at least they’re transparent. This is a see through attempt to demonize conservatives as anti-American.

The KOS Kids have been pushing the GOP-is-anti-American meme all week.

But here’s the thing. This stimulus bill is supposed to be about creating jobs.

1. What jobs are created by buying new cars for the government?

2. Not all Americans want to work for ACORN.

3. Only a few people are qualified to work in Honey Bee Insurance.

Those are just three examples of the Pork Feast the Dems are trying to force Americans to swallow.

The Wall Street Journal calls the stimulus bill a 40 Year Wish List for the Democrats.

This has NOTHING to do with jobs for Americans.

This has ENTIRELY to do with liberal Democrats having their way with Lady Liberty.

Remember: If it smells like bullshit, it probably is bullshit.

Side with America.

Side with Rush.

The howl of patriotic dissent has been deafening for the last eight years under President Bush. Countless protests by so called progressives were held across the nation where people hoisted signs in the air trumpeting their patriotic dissent.

But now Obama is the president and that means shut up and smile or be labeled un-American.

And it’s not just Obama’s supporters in the media who are saying this, it’s Obama himself. Case in point is Obama focusing his disdain on Rush Limbaugh and those who listen to him.

Bear in mind the real meaning of this: The President of the United States has singled out and criticized a PRIVATE CITIZEN.

Yes, Rush Limbaugh is famous but he is not an elected official, not a Republican official of any kind. He’s a talk show host. And yet the President has taken it upon himself to insult, criticize and discourage not only him but his customers.

Obama has in fact wished for the failure of a private citizen’s business. That’s not only insulting, it’s stupid.

What are people saying?

Seattle Times calls Rush Limbaugh a “Disloyal Clown.”

Jon Stewart calls Rush “Arguably Treasonous.”

A writer at the Miami Herald says “I Hope Rush Limbaugh Fails.”

Disloyal, treasonous, failure.

That’s what dissent earns you under Obama.

Well well well, it looks like Hollywood is going to be the next industry in line to gorge themselves at the troth of the American taxpayer.

That would certainly explain the suddenly new found patriotism so many of these jerks are currently feeling.

Perhaps if they stopped making so many movies with the message that America sucks, people would be more apt to buy tickets.

Come to think of it, it might also help if so many celebrities stopped hanging around with avowed enemies of the United States.

I know what you’re thinking though. That would be too hard.

Hollywood has found it’s just too easy to use the same old tired memes over and over, hell they’ve even started to just recycle movies they made 20 or 30 years ago rather than coming up with something new and original.

I guess we can now assume to know why so many in la la land are lining up to “serve their president.”

Obama has now been sworn in as the 44th President of the United States.

We wish him well and hope he does well for the sake of our nation. We want America to be safe and have great success and so we must want Obama to do well.

HOWEVER, we have a patriotic duty to dissent and make it known when we disagree.

As Americans, we also have the right to ridicule, point fingers, make fun and criticize as much as we damn well please.

So now that Barack Hussein Obama has taken office we say God Bless America and LET THE GAMES BEGIN.
