What happens when an 8 year old boy draws a picture of a stick-figure Jesus on the cross? He gets suspended from school, of course. Merry Christmas!

“A Taunton father is outraged after his 8-year-old son was sent home from school and required to undergo a psychological evaluation after drawing a stick-figure picture of Jesus Christ on the cross.”

“The father said he got a call earlier this month from Maxham Elementary School informing him that his son, a second-grade student, had created a violent drawing. The image in question depicted a crucified Jesus with Xs covering his eyes to signify that he had died on the cross. The boy wrote his name above the cross.”

“As far as I’m concerned, they’re violating his religion,” the incredulous father said.”

“He requested that his name and his son’s name be withheld from publication to protect the boy.”

“The student drew the picture shortly after taking a family trip to see the Christmas display at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, a Christian retreat site in Attleboro. He made the drawing in class after his teacher asked the children to sketch something that reminded them of Christmas, the father said.”

Meanwhile, another public school in Indiana is taking a more ahem progressive view of religion in the schools. By singing about Islam. Merry Christmas!

“A battle over religion is brewing in central Indiana after a public school wanted second graders to sing a song declaring, “Allah is God.” The phrase was removed just before the performance after a national conservative group launched a protest.”

“The principal of Lantern Road Elementary School in Fishers, IN, said they were trying to teach inclusiveness through their holiday production. It included references to Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Las Posadas and Kwanzaa. However, no other deity, other than Allah, was referenced in the show.”

“It went off…without a hitch,” Danielle Thompson told the Indianapolis Star. “Several families thought it was a nice program.”

“But others did not – especially David Hogan. His daughter came home with a copy of the lyrics just days before the production. Hogan, a Christian, told the American Family Association, a conservative advocacy group, that he was deeply concerned to learn that his daughter had been singing, “Allah is God.”

As you may know, there’s a crazy fringe movement in America called “9/11 Truth.” The adherents are typically called “truthers” and they believe the United States government was somehow involved in, or responsible for the 9/11 attacks of 2001.

One of their notorious members was President Obama’s “green jobs czar” Van Jones who was quietly ushered out of the White House when his loony beliefs were made public.

What’s lost on these wingnuts is that there is a very real “truth” about 9/11 that never gets mentioned in our politically correct culture. Simply put, the terrorists who carried out the attacks were Muslim extremists.

Peter Gadiel’s son James was killed on 9/11. He worked in the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Mr. Gadiel wants his son’s hometown memorial to include the words “Murdered by Muslim terrorists.” His fellow townsfolk in Kent, Connecticut say no way. Why? Because it might offend someone.

FOX News reports:

“Peter Gadiel wants everyone to remember his son, James, who was killed during the September 11 terrorist attacks.”

“And he also wants people to remember how he died: “Murdered by Muslim terrorists.”

“For Gadiel, any tribute to his son would be woefully incomplete without those words.”

“I think it’s important, because I think there’s a nationwide effort to suppress the identity of the people who were involved in the attacks,” Gadiel told Fox News.

Eight years ago, 23-year-old James Gadiel worked for Cantor Fitzgerald on the 103rd floor of the World Trade Center. He died when a hijacked plane crashed into the North Tower.

For years, Gadiel’s hometown of Kent, Conn., has wanted to honor the young man with a memorial plaque next to its town hall. But the tribute has hit a snag because James’ father wants to include the phrase, “Murdered by Muslim terrorists,” under his son’s name.

For Peter Gadiel, it is a central fact of the Sept. 11 attacks that is often left out.

“It isn’t just overlooked, it’s suppressed,” Gadiel said. “It’s simply wrong to imply that people just died. The buildings didn’t just collapse, they didn’t just fall down — they were attacked by people with a specific identity, a specific purpose.”

“Town officials call the phrase too controversial for a small town memorial, and they recently voted against erecting the plaque if Gadiel insists on the language.”

“We perceive ourselves as a very warm, loving town,” said Ruth Epstein, a Kent selectman and one of two town leaders to vote the plaque down. “To disparage any one ethnic group is just against everything that we stand for here.”

“Epstein noted that other Sept. 11 memorials, like the one at the Pentagon, don’t mention Muslim terrorists, and she said she does not want to alienate any members of her small and close-knit community.”

“We have at least one Muslim family living here with children and it — it would be just awful to have them see something like that,” Epstein told Fox News.”

“But for Gadiel, it’s an important message that he insists be present on any tribute to his son.”

“Muslims have to acknowledge that it was their co-religionists who committed this act in their name,” he said. “I am offended that unlike so many others, they refuse to acknowledge that it was their people who did this.”

That’s the real 9/11 truth.

The attacks of 9/11 were carried out by Muslim extremists. Does that mean that all Muslims are bad people? Of course not. What it does mean though, is that our culture in America is becoming so politically correct that we can’t say what is true for fear of offending someone.

Unless the people who might be offended are Christians. Big Hollywood has a new report about a comedy TV show, produced by HBO that featured a character peeing on an image of Jesus Christ for laughs.

“Did you happen to see the episode to which I refer? Assuming you did not catch the episode, briefly stated: Larry pisses on the face of a painting of Jesus Christ, followed by mocking of Christians who believe the piss drop on the face of Jesus is a tear, thus they’ve witnessed a miracle.”

“Can you imagine the shit storm that would follow if David pissed on a painting of the prophet Muhammad? Of course, HBO, the complicit scum that they are, would not have allowed that to air.”

For the record, I am not a Muslim or a Christian. I’m just an American who is concerned about the hypocrisy and double standards that are leading our nation away from the truth and common sense.

Actual victims of 9/11 are being told they’re too insensitive.

“On June 3, Rachel Maddow said during her TV show that Rush Limbaugh is the “guy who says the assassin of Martin Luther King, Jr. should get the Medal of Honor.”

“MADDOW: And finally, a quote falsely attributed to talk show host Rush Limbaugh recently resurfaced during the debate over whether or not he would or should be part of a group bidding to buy the St. Louis Rams football team.”

“To set the record straight, Rush Limbaugh apparently never said that Martin Luther King Jr.`s assassin should receive the Medal of Honor. And I was in error when we reported that we had. Mea culpa.”

No problem, boyish dyke.

We “Teabaggers” on the right accept your apology despite your lipstick appearance, diesel mouth and tuna stained breath. We strive to be as open minded as you are.

And by the way, thanks for opening up the world of homo slurs by flagrantly throwing around the term “Teabagger” as an acceptable insult.

Last time I checked, Oregon was part of the United States which leads one to the obvious question… Who among us is offended by the American flag???

“He was told to remove the red, white and blue from both of his rides, or face eviction.”

“It floored me,” he said. “I can’t believe she was saying what she was saying.”

“Even long-time residents like Sharron White, who has flown a flag on her car for eight years, has been told to take it down.”

“White said management told her that “someone might get offended.”

“I just said to her ‘They’ll just have to get over it,’” White said.”

“Resident we talked to who had been approached to take down their flags all told us the same thing: that management told them the flags could be offensive because they live in a diverse community.”

Our elected representatives are repeatedly pushing legislation against the will of the majority.

Children are singing songs about Obama in public schools where Christmas carols have been outlawed.

And now Americans can’t fly the United States flag in our own country for fear of offending people?

Really? Really???

I am offended. Deeply offended.

I am getting more offended by the day.

Why? To bash conservatives, of course. Democrats don’t want to offend terrorists when they’re such a convenient political tool.

And as everyone knows, if you have a problem with Obama’s Nobel Prize, you’re siding with terrorists.

“The Republican Party has thrown in its lot with the terrorists – the Taliban and Hamas this morning – in criticizing the President for receiving the Nobel Peace prize,” DNC communications director Brad Woodhouse told POLITICO. “Republicans cheered when America failed to land the Olympics and now they are criticizing the President of the United States for receiving the Nobel Peace prize – an award he did not seek but that is nonetheless an honor in which every American can take great pride – unless of course you are the Republican Party.”

“The 2009 version of the Republican Party has no boundaries, has no shame and has proved that they will put politics above patriotism at every turn. It’s no wonder only 20 percent of Americans admit to being Republicans anymore – it’s an embarrassing label to claim,” Woodhouse said.”

Mr. Woodhouse clearly doesn’t realize that there are plenty of Libertarians and Independents who are already chomping at the bit to vote Republican in 2010 and 2012, including yours truly.

Does that make us terrorists or do we only qualify as a “man caused disaster?”

Color of Change, with the full support of Think Progress, Media Matters and the Huffington Post, is continuing its assault on free speech, demanding that advertisers pull support from the Glenn Beck program.

“Eight more Glenn Beck advertisers, including Wal-Mart – the world’s largest retailer – have confirmed to ColorOfChange.org that they pulled their ads from the controversial Fox News Channel broadcaster’s eponymous show. Allergan (maker of Restasis), Ally Bank (a unit of GMAC Financial Services), Best Buy, Broadview Security, CVS, Re-Bath, Travelocity and Wal-Mart join the dozen other companies who previously distanced themselves from Beck.”

“Twenty companies have pulled their ads from Beck’s show in just the last two weeks. The moves come after the Fox News host called President Obama a “racist” who “has a deep-seated hatred for white people” during an appearance on Fox & Friends. Previous companies who pulled their ads include ConAgra, GEICO, Lawyers.com, Men’s Wearhouse, Procter & Gamble, Progressive Insurance, RadioShack, Roche, SC Johnson, Sanofi-Aventis, Sargento, and State Farm Insurance.”

“We are heartened to see so many corporate citizens step up in support of our campaign against Glenn Beck,” said James Rucker, executive director of ColorOfChange.org. “Their action sends a clear a message to Glenn Beck: Broadcasters shouldn’t abuse the privilege they enjoy by spewing dangerous and racially charged hate language over the air. No matter their political affiliation, hate language doesn’t belong in our national dialogue.”

So the same “Progressives” who accused every single Obama opponent of being a racist leading up to the presidential election, suddenly think it’s “hate speech” to call someone a racist if the someone in question is Barack Obama.

Funny, they don’t seem to have a problem with “hate speech” when Progressives mercilessly attack Sarah Palin, her children, Joe the Plumber, Carrie Prejean, the Mormons, FOX News, Kenneth Gladney, Michelle Malkin, Andrew Brietbart, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, etc., etc., etc.

In fact, this has nothing to do with “hate speech.” This is a Progressive attempt to shut down a popular voice of dissent and they are using political correctness to do it.

This is an assault on the 1st Amendment. This is an assault on free speech.

Progressives hate free speech unless it is their own free speech.

They are trying to send a message to any who dare dissent. Shut up or you will be silenced.

Welcome to the world of Obama. Where it’s OK for the White House to call the American people a “mob” but using politically incorrect terms like “Jihadist” is no longer socially acceptable.

The American people are a “mob.”

“An angry mob. That is what our President and his loons are calling Americans that disagree with their policies. Why does our President make such a huge show that he is willing to sit down and listen to tin pot dictators abroad, yet cannot even sit down with those that oppose him at home?”

Terrorists on the other hand are human beings with feelings to be considered. It’s no longer acceptable to call a Jihadist a Jihadist.

“Mr. Brennan said that to say the U.S. is fighting “jihadists” is wrongheaded because it is using “a legitimate term, ‘jihad,’ meaning to purify oneself or to wage a holy struggle for a moral goal” which “risks giving these murderers the religious legitimacy they desperately seek but in no way deserve.”

Wouldn’t it be nice if Mr. Obama chose his words as carefully when he was talking about the people of the country he was elected to serve?

Andrew Breitbart writing at Big Hollywood, notes the irony of Perez Hilton being brought down essentially by political correctness.

A Catholic School in Rhode Island recently sold a building to the Ocean State’s first Muslim School. They didn’t charge them any interest because that’s against Sharia law. How nice. Can I buy a house with no interest?

Of course there’s already a mosque in Boston, MA with terrorist connections.

And word on the street is that the Mall of America in Minnesota is installing prayer rooms for Muslims on the go.
