There’s no low too low for the left when it comes to Palin Derangement Syndrome but Family Guy gets the latest prize.
On a side note, Cracked.com has a new article which explains how Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane creates “new” TV shows.
This blog has been very critical of President Obama’s policies. That being said, I would like to take this opportunity to praise our First Lady, Michelle Obama, for her appearance on Larry King last night.
Michelle Obama is obviously a very beautiful woman but last night during her appearance on CNN’s Larry King, when asked about Sarah Palin, she displayed the best grace and dignity that Americans have come to associate with all First Ladies.
CNN titled this video “Michelle Obama Mum on Palin.” I think that title is misleading. Michelle Obama spoke plainly, saying that she doesn’t know Sarah Palin and went on to say that she respects the voices of women in politics.
My hat is off to you, Mrs. Obama.

Obama Urges Setting Aside “Petty Politics”
President Obama declared today that “a sense of purpose that transcends petty politics” must be forged by Democrats and Republicans to create more jobs, reduce the deficit and find at least some common ground on health care.
“We can’t afford grandstanding at the expense of actually getting something done,” Mr. Obama said as he made a surprise appearance at the daily White House briefing for the media only hours after he convened his first monthly bipartisan meeting he called for in the State of the Union address.
Robert Gibbs Scrawls Notes on Hand, Mocking Sarah Palin
Following President Obama’s surprise appearance at the White House press briefing, press secretary Robert Gibbs garnered laughter from the press corps by holding up his hand to reveal that he had written notes on his palm in black marker.
Gibbs’ move was a jab at Sarah Palin, who was shown to have written notes on her hand at a speech at the Tea Party convention Saturday after making an implicit criticism of the president for using a TelePrompTer.
Gibbs quipped that he had made the notes in case he and his family are snowed in by the storm approaching Washington. He said the words written on his hands included “eggs” and “milk” and that he had written “bread” but crossed it out.
Yeah. No more petty politics. Right.
Wow! CSPAN was finally allowed into the room. Wasn’t it Obama who promised that would happen?

Former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel.
The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called “War Stories.”
Many suspected that when Ms. Palin retired as the governor of Alaska last summer she was doing so to pursue some sort of career in television. The Fox News deal, however, would not seem to be all encompassing, and would appear to give her room for other pursuits, as well.
If Palin’s deal with FOX is for more than a few years, we can probably rule out a presidential run in 2012. That news would please some and disappoint others but one thing is for sure. We’re going to be seeing a lot more of Sarah Palin on TV.

This should send the left into fits. Sarah Palin has written an op-ed piece for the Washington Post regarding Copenhagen and ClimateGate. I’m publishing a few excerpts from the piece below.
“Climate-gate,” as the e-mails and other documents from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia have become known, exposes a highly politicized scientific circle — the same circle whose work underlies efforts at the Copenhagen climate change conference. The agenda-driven policies being pushed in Copenhagen won’t change the weather, but they would change our economy for the worse.”
“This scandal obviously calls into question the proposals being pushed in Copenhagen. I’ve always believed that policy should be based on sound science, not politics. As governor of Alaska, I took a stand against politicized science when I sued the federal government over its decision to list the polar bear as an endangered species despite the fact that the polar bear population had more than doubled. I got clobbered for my actions by radical environmentalists nationwide, but I stood by my view that adding a healthy species to the endangered list under the guise of “climate change impacts” was an abuse of the Endangered Species Act. This would have irreversibly hurt both Alaska’s economy and the nation’s, while also reducing opportunities for responsible development.”
“Our representatives in Copenhagen should remember that good environmental policymaking is about weighing real-world costs and benefits — not pursuing a political agenda. That’s not to say I deny the reality of some changes in climate — far from it. I saw the impact of changing weather patterns firsthand while serving as governor of our only Arctic state.”
“What Obama really hopes to bring home from Copenhagen is more pressure to pass the Democrats’ cap-and-tax proposal. This is a political move. The last thing America needs is misguided legislation that will raise taxes and cost jobs — particularly when the push for such legislation rests on agenda-driven science.”
“Without trustworthy science and with so much at stake, Americans should be wary about what comes out of this politicized conference. The president should boycott Copenhagen.”
AND right on cue, the Huffington Post is not only going after Palin but attacking the Washington Post just for publishing her piece.
“Wednesday’s edition of the Washington Post features an op-ed by Sarah Palin, who reprises her call — first made in a Facebook post last week — for President Obama to “boycott” the major climate talks in Copenhagen due to the “Climate-gate” controversy (actually a non-controversy).”
“The reaction to Palin’s latest piece, however, is focused not on what she wrote, but on the fact that the Washington Post chose to run it in the first place.”

Left wing idiots have been blogging to the rooftops for months about all the supposed threats on the life of President Obama. Funny thing is, there hasn’t been an attack on President Obama’s life. Why? Because conservatives – even though they disagree with Obama’s policies – respect the fact that he is the President of the United States.

“BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (FOX 9) – A man was arrested for throwing tomatoes at Sarah Palin during her book signing on Monday at the Mall of America.”
“Jeremy Olson, 33, allegedly threw two tomatoes from the second balcony, however did not come close to hitting Palin.”
“Bloomington Police report that Bloomington Commander Mark Stehlik was struck in the face with one of the tomatoes and may face charges for assaulting a police officer. Olson was booked at the Bloomington jail. He was arrested for suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct.”
