Barbara Boxer Deserves to Fail

Why? Well, let’s see…

Barbara Boxer is a racist.

Barbara Boxer is an elitist who looks down her nose at our military.

And finally Barbara Boxer is a hypocrite.

But hey California voters, what do I know? If you’re happy with the current state of affairs in California under the present overwhelming leadership of Democrats, then by all means re-elect Barbara Boxer.

I’m sure she and her union controlled cronies will get it right this time.

Andy Stern from SEIU: Senators Against ObamaCare Are Like Terrorists

OK Andy. Whatever you say…

Someone get this man some medication.

ABC News’ David Chalian Reports:  One of President Obama’s strong supporters from the Labor community sees no other choice for Democrats than to pursue a long shot strategy in a last ditch effort to save the comprehensive health care reform effort that consumed Washington for most of 2009 from defeat.

SEIU President Andy Stern also charged that the reason Senate Democrats find themselves in their current predicament on health care is because some senators (read: Ben Nelson, Joe Lieberman) “acted like terrorists.”

“I think we saw in the Senate you know, death to change.   And I think the Senate has huge responsibilities here. They were given a gift, particularly in the fall, by the American people of 60 votes.  The ability to debate every issue and what did they do?  They squandered it.  And when I call them terrorists, they’re not — they’re good Americans — but they acted like terrorists and there’s a reason why America doesn’t negotiate with terrorists,” Stern told us on ABC News’ “Top Line” today.

Note to Andy Stern: Anyone who’s on a first name basis with Bill Ayers probably shouldn’t throw around accusations like “terrorist.”

SEIU Thugs Beat Down Worker – These People Have Access to the White House?

SEIU thugs - like the ones who violently attacked Kenneth Gladney back in August - attacked another man this week, this time a California state worker who was trying to expose their corruption.

SEIU thugs – like the ones who violently attacked Kenneth Gladney back in August – attacked another man this week, this time a California state worker who was trying to expose their corruption.

CBS in Sacramento reports:

Ken Hamidi“A state worker is recovering after a bloody brawl at a union hall. He says members of the local SEIU 1000 beat him up and sent him to the hospital all because he wanted to expose alleged corruption within the union.”

“Ken Hamidi is a state worker at the California Franchise Tax Board. Last night he walked into a union hall in Sacramento for an SEIU local 1000 meeting.”

“We had every right to be here, very simple; it wasn’t anything private or anything exclusive,” said Hamidi.”

“But Hamidi says the union members did not want him there.”

“Three, four people jumped at me, wrestled with me, then did all that,” said Hamidi. “I was covered in blood and then over to the emergency room.”

“Photos of Hamidi in the hospital show him bloodied from the brawl. So why did this happen? Besides being a state worker, Hamidi says he’s an unpaid reporter for a cable access show and a vocal critic of the SEIU. He calls the state workers’ union corrupt.”

The head of the SEIU is Andy Stern. Stern tops the list of influential visitors at the White House.Andy Stern

“The most frequent visitor included in the narrow sample was Andy Stern, president of the Service Employees International Union and Mr. Obama’s top ally in the labor movement. Mr. Stern visited the White House 22 times, sometimes for health care or other public events in the East Room, other times for meetings with the president or aides like Rahm Emanuel, Peter R. Orszag or Ronald A. Klain.”

“The visit tally underscores the clout that S.E.I.U. and Mr. Stern enjoy in this White House, something that has generated consternation at times among business groups and envy among rival unions.”

We now have two documented cases of SEIU violence. They seem to lash out when people are doing something they don’t like or if they perceive someone as a threat. Yet they have direct access to our White House and our president.

Why?

Furthermore, why do Obama’s supporters try to create a false image of conservative Tea Party activists as potentially violent when it is the president’s cohorts in the SEIU who have now twice committed acts of violence?

The president himself speaking to Democrats just yesterday referred to anti-ObamaCare protesters in Washington DC as “the Tea Bag people.”

“According to Representative Earl Blumenauer of Oregon, who supports the health care bill, the president asked, “Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care?”

Violent and corrupt thugs have access to the White House. Pro-American patriots are ridiculed by their president.

Now we know what Obama meant by “change.”

Does The GOP Have Internet Access???

Did the GOP miss the last six months? Did the party leaders not see the Tea Parties, the town hall meetings or the national outrage over ACORN? Have you been sitting in a dark room with your ears plugged? Here's a newsflash for the GOP from a libertarian who wants to vote Republican.

I ask this question based on a legitimate concern.

Republican leaders continue to back the ACORN/Daily KOS endorsed Dede Scozzafava while fretting over Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman in the New York 23 congressional race.

Establishment Republicans, including Newt Gingrich, are puzzled by the excitement over Doug Hoffman and the endorsement of his campaign by figures like Sarah Palin and Tim Pawlenty.

Politico reports:

“A senior GOP strategist, granted anonymity in order to speak candidly, lamented that in endorsing Hoffman, the contenders had delivered to the White House an early victory in their efforts to brand the Republican Party as dominated by its conservative wing.”

Conservative wing? Conservative wing???

Hello???

Gallup reported today that Conservatives are the dominant ideological group in America.

Since when is the majority a “wing?”

“Changes among political independents appear to be the main reason the percentage of conservatives has increased nationally over the past year: the 35% of independents describing their views as conservative in 2009 is up from 29% in 2008.”

Conservatives 2009

Did the GOP miss the last six months? Did the party leaders not see the Tea Parties, the town hall meetings or the national outrage over ACORN? Have you been sitting in a dark room with your ears plugged?

Here’s a newsflash for the GOP from a libertarian who wants to vote Republican.

1. You don’t need to re-brand the party.

2. If you run a candidate with ANY connection to ACORN, SEIU, or any corrupt affiliate thereof, he or she will LOSE.

3. Run genuine Conservative candidates and you’ll win.

In the mean time I have just one final suggestion.

Buy a computer and check out “the internet.”

This is the latest from Naked Emperor News. It was January 2008 and candidate Obama met with some SEIU members to reveal his love for them.

SEIU is the same organization responsible for violent acts during the summer’s tumultuous town halls then claimed they were the victims.

Oh and in case you didn’t know, SEIU is in bed with ACORN.

Lovely.

Democrat Congresswoman in NH Has Town Hall Protester Removed by Cops for Questioning the Presence of SEIU

Live free or die?

Live free or die?

A retired cop stood up at a New Hampshire town hall meeting for Carol Shea Porter (D) of New Hampshire this weekend and asked why out of state SEIU members were present at the meeting. Result? At Shea Porter’s request, he was removed from the meeting by the police.

VIDEO:

Now Hampshire has a full report which includes some interesting background on Carol Shea Porter and her changed attitude about protesters at town hall meetings.

“In four short years Carol Shea-Porter has evolved from a rabble-rousing, town hall disrupting anti-war activist who once had to be forcibly removed from a President George Bush event in Portsmouth to a Member of Congress who instructed armed security guards to remove a frustrated voter from her own town hall event in Manchester on Saturday.”

“Four years ago Carol Shea-Porter protested at the State House alongside people dressed as Nazis while accusing the federal government of trying to “brand us like sheep.” On Saturday, she disparagingly referred to people who do not trust the same federal government to run our health care system as “these people.”

“We remember when, Carol, do you?”

The Left Honors Kennedy by Exploiting Him for Political Gain Before His Body is Cold

Is that headline too harsh?

Is that headline too harsh?

Is it any harsher than the indisputable fact that proponents of ObamaCare are already clamoring for the bill to be renamed for Kennedy? Do they do this out of respect for Ted? No. They are doing it to exploit his death for political gain. They’re trying to squeeze one last legislative victory out of Ted Kennedy’s barely cold body.

Nancy Pelosi waited about two hours after Kennedy’s death before she went to work…

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office sent an email to reporters at around 2:30 a.m. today, just hours after his death, calling for the passage of health care overhaul. “Ted Kennedy’s dream of quality health care for all Americans will be made real this year because of his leadership and his inspiration,” the statement read.”

The president of the SEIU waited until this morning:

“Andy Stern, president of the Service Employees International Union, also issued a statement this morning calling for the passage of health care overhaul. “Let us continue his cause,” Stern said. “Let us take action this year to pass health care reform. And let us continue to build Kennedy’s vision of America.”

Given these grossly political overtures in the wake of Kennedy’s death, I sure hope no one has the nads to criticize Robert Stacy McCain’s memorial to another great American.

What Was That Thing the Media Was Saying About “Right Wing” Violence?

Meet Maurice Schwenkler. He supports Progressive Liberal politics and in his spare time, he smashes windows and vandalizes Democrat offices to make it look like Conservatives did it.

Maurice SchwenklerMeet Maurice Schwenkler. He supports Progressive Liberal politics and in his spare time, he smashes windows and vandalizes Democrat offices to make it look like Conservatives did it.

Unfortunately for Maurice, he got busted today but not before Democrat leaders immediately insisted the act must have been committed by some angry Conservative mobsters or Tea Party racists.

The Denver Post reports:

“A 24-year-old arrested this morning on suspicion of smashing 11 windows at Colorado Democratic Party headquarters tried to conceal his identity while allegedly committing the crime, according to police descriptions.”

“Maurice Schwenkler wore a shirt over his face, a hooded sweat shirt and latex gloves before he and another man fled the scene on bicycles, police said. Schwenkler was apprehended after a short chase. The other suspect remains at large.”

“While Schwenkler does not appear in the state’s voter registration database, a person by that name in November 2008 received $500 from a political 527 committee called Colorado Citizens Coalition for “communications,” according to campaign finance disclosures.”

“The accountant for the 527 appears to be the same woman who handles the books for many other Democratic-leaning political committees.”

“A Maurice Schwenkler also signed an online 2005 petition to free anti-war Christian protesters who were captured in Iraq.”

“State Democratic Party Chairwoman Pat Waak initially blamed the vandalism on animosity surrounding the health care debate, though Denver police declined to comment on possible motives.”

“We ought to be having a serious, conscientious debate about what’s best for the country,” Waak said. “Clearly there’s been an effort on the other side to stir up hate. I think this is the consequence of it.”

Next time you read about some atrocity that’s been attributed to “right wing” extremists, remember Maurice and his epic FAIL.

Further reading on this story can be found at Red State.

Gateway Pundit has discovered that this kid has ties to the SEIU!

Michelle Malkin rightly asks, “Where’s the apology from Waak?”

David Axelrod’s Dirty Ties to “Healthcare Reform”

Chief Obama propagandist David Axelrod, the man who wrote the vacuous slogan "yes we can," has a vested interest in the passage of ObamaCare. It's making him rich.

axelrodChief Obama propagandist David Axelrod, the man who wrote the vacuous slogan “yes we can,” has a vested interest in the passage of ObamaCare. It’s making him rich.

Axelrod’s former firm, for which his son still works, is AKPD Media and they are being paid by an organization called Health Economy Now to help push ObamaCare. Health Economy Now includes big PHARMA, the SEIU and the AARP. The conflict of interest? AKPD owes David Axelrod a lot of money.

See how many hands wash the others?

David Axelrod helps to pass ObamaCare. ObamaCare passes, AKPD has more money. AKPD gives money to David Axelrod. Everyone is happy!

Hugh Hewitt of Town Hall busted this wide open yesterday.

“If Axelrod has been negotiating any part of any deal involving any of these players which are funneling money to the firm that owes him money, or if he is advising the president on the deals with any of these groups, that’s a conflict of interest.  Laundering the money through a “coalition” doesn’t remove the conflict much less the appearance of impropriety.  The coalition is in effect partially funding David Axelrod’s severance package though its members might have done so unknowingly.  These forthcoming payments to Axelrod are much more significant than the sort of “retained ties”  that Democrats blasted Dick Cheney for vis-a-vis Halliburton even though there was no high level negotiations between the vice president and his former company.”

Like Hewitt, Michelle Malkin, author of Culture of Corruption, cites an important Bloomberg article on this subject and makes the following point:

“Now, Bloomberg’s Timothy Burger brings news about Axelrod’s latest health care conflicts of interest that will come as no surprise to those who have fully informed themselves of the Chicago way. While White House press secretary Robert Gibbs assails the motives of grass-roots activists by falsely smearing the movement as corporate-funded shills, Barack Obama’s own senior adviser and chief Astroturfer raked in millions of dollars from Big Pharma.”

This story is beginning to take root in the mainstream press and is currently on the front page of the Politico:

“Critics of President Obama’s health-care overhaul are zeroing in on his senior adviser, whose former partners at a Chicago-based firm are the beneficiaries of huge ad buys—now at $24 million and counting—by White House allies in the reform fight.”

Not too long ago, our friends on the left cared about supposed conflicts of interest. In fact, they couldn’t shut up about it. Now? Not so much. Ed Morrissey at Hot Air is waiting for the outrage from the left but isn’t holding his breath.

Of course, it has never been proven that Dick Cheney had any conflict of interest where Halliburton was concerned but that never stopped the left. If you want a good laugh, watch the great Halliburton protest of 2007 below.
