ACORN Thugs Send a Man With a Pacemaker to the Hospital

acorn1In Modesto, CA on Tuesday, a mob of ACORN thugs showed up at a real estate auction. You see, these protesters who didn’t pay their mortgages are outraged that their homes were “stolen” from them. They’re angry that the houses are being sold before Obama can implement his plan to force taxpayers to pay their mortgages for them.

The Modesto Bee reports:

“Many of the sales that are happening now are around houses that could be saved by the (loan modification and refinance) plans starting to be implemented,” said Amy Schur, California director of ACORN.”

“The group organized the protest with bullhorns, whistles and chants of “Save Our Homes,” to make its case for a moratorium on foreclosures until plans unveiled in March by the Obama administration have a chance to work.”

When the auctioneer, who has a pacemaker and was just doing his job, told the protesters “If you’re not going to make a bid, then go away.” he was chanted down so harshly that he collapsed.

“Seconds later, protesters surrounded the group, chanting, blowing whistles and creating a commotion that made it impossible to hear. The auctioneer, who had a pacemaker according to associates, began to collapse and was later taken to a local hospital.”

Our president must be so proud of his involvement with such a group.

When do we get to see the DHS report that classifies ACORN as an extremist group???

And by the way, why is ACORN going to be involved in the next United States Census?

ACORN is Now Breaking Into Foreclosed Homes

acorn1More hope and change from ACORN. Now they’re just breaking into foreclosed homes and
“reclaiming” them.

“A community organization breaks into a foreclosed home in what they are calling an act of civil disobedience.”

“This is our house now,” said Louis Beverly, ACORN.”

New York Times Pushing Sympathy for ACORN

Anything in this photo just sort of jump out at you?

Perhaps the crying woman wearing an ACORN shirt? Or maybe the man comforting her also wearing an ACORN shirt? Or perhaps the ACORN sign resting next to him?

This photo is from a New York Times story titled “Effort Takes Shape to Support Families Facing Forclosure.”

Now we don’t wish misfortune on our fellow Americans. It’s sad that people are losing their homes. We do however, take issue with the New York Times using this issue to carry water for ACORN.

You know, ACORN, the fraudulent voter registration organization now being investigated in several states.

The same ACORN which is currently pushing for the Fairness Doctrine.

The same ACORN that’s largely to blame for the sub-prime mortgage meltdown.

The New York Times sees things differently and is giving a voice to this organization:

“You want to haul us out to jail? Fine. Let the world see how government has been ineffective,” Bertha Lewis, Acorn’s chief organizer, said in an interview. “Politicians have helped banks, but they haven’t helped families in the way that it’s needed, and these families are now saying, enough is enough.”

You’re right Bertha. Enough is enough. Most Americans feel the exact same way though the focus of our exasperation is different. To get a sense of what I mean, you need only look in a mirror.

Of course, ACORN won’t have the New York Times to back them up for long. Considering that the cost of a share of stock in the New York Times now costs less than their Sunday edition.
