CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Utterly Confused About Obama, Iraq, Bush and History

August 8, 2014

There’s so much to unpack here…

First, Blitzer laments the failure of Obama’s strategy of announcing America’s exit from Iraq by saying:

This was not the way it was supposed to be after President Obama announced that all U.S. forces would be leaving.

He then goes on to invoke George W. Bush and mentions the moment Bush landed on an aircraft carrier with a banner that said “Mission Impossible.” I had to watch the video twice to make sure Blitzer actually said that and he does.

He clearly says “Mission Impossible” not “Mission Accomplished.”

This is CNN.
