Where is MSNBC’s Apology for Being Wrong About Chris Christie and BridgeGate?

September 24, 2014

In case you haven’t heard, New Jersey governor Chris Christie has been cleared of all wrongdoing in the BridgeGate scandal. The Department of Justice, which is dragging its feet on the IRS, NSA, Benghazi, Fast and Furious and numerous other Obama administration scandals, launched a prompt investigation of Christie and came up with nothing.

The nightly line-up at MSNBC was obsessed with this story. In fact, they made CNN’s unhealthy fixation on the missing Malaysian plane look like a passing fancy.

Progressives have spent the better part of two years calling every corrupt move by the Obama administration phony scandals. They constantly call FOX News biased while their preferred network has engaged in an outright smear campaign that turned out to be completely false.

When will these people apologize for being completely wrong? If you think I’m kidding about MSNBC’s hopeful reportage of the BridgeGate non-scandal, just watch this retrospective by the Washington Free Beacon…

Where is their apology? At the end of a very long list of things they should have apologized for that has accumulated over the years since their inception. They have yet to apologize for the first thing on the list and an apology is not on the current (next ten years) calendar. I would not hold my breath waiting for the “Bridgegate” mea culpa.
