Does anyone have a strategy? The reality is that nobody does for if there was a known approach it would have been applied long ago.

The president is Commander in Chief. It’s his job to have a strategy. History will judge whether his plan worked or not, but he needs to at least have one.

The problem is that we are dealing with a new type of scenario. I am not discussing this from a political point of view. The reality is that no nation, no leader has been able to come up with a strategy yet, unfortunately. This threat needs a universal approach, unformed actions by all nations. The roots of this problem are very complicated, and I am not sure we even understand the underlying reasons that trigger terrorism. Without understanding the problem and understanding how it is spreading, as well as identifying the motives we are unable to come up with a solid action plan. Do you know what to do? I don’t. I do know that we are not safe, and I do know that there is a wide division between people and cultures and that reality can be one of many reasons causing this horror. China, Russia and the Arab world all need to come to the table and we must find a way together. No one country can solve this on its own. That is my humble opinion
