Progressive Atheist Shot And Killed Three Muslims in North Carolina

February 11, 2015

Shooter is a fan of Rachel Maddow, the Huffington Post, Southern Poverty Law Center.

As if murdering three innocent people isn’t bad enough, reports are suggesting that the whole thing happened over a parking dispute.

WRAL reports…

Chapel Hill police: Parking dispute may have led to triple shooting

Chapel Hill police said Wednesday that an ongoing dispute over parking may have led to a triple shooting Tuesday night at a condominium complex on Summerwalk Circle.

Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, has been charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, his wife, Yusor Mohammad, 21, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19.

Hicks turned himself in to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office in Pittsboro following the shooting, which happened in the Finley Forest complex off Barbee Chapel Road shortly after 5 p.m.

All three victims were shot in the head, sources said.

The liberal media, which has spent the last six years trying to advance a narrative about dangerous, violent conservatives armed with guns might overlook one important aspect of this story.

Derek Hunter of the Daily Caller…

Progressive Atheist Kills 3 Muslim Students, Media Ignores

The New York Times reported on the murders and mentioned Hicks’ atheism, but not his politics. CNN did the same, as did The Washington Post.

Yet even a passive look at his Facebook page would reveal Hicks is not only a rabid atheist, but a passionate progressive.

A review of the Facebook page of the man charged in these murders, Craig Hicks, shows a consistent themes of anti-religion and progressive causes. Included in his many Facebook “likes” are the Huffington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Freedom from Religion Foundation, Bill Nye “The Science Guy,” Neil deGrasse Tyson, Gay Marriage groups, and a host of anti-conservative/tea party pages.

By my count, that’s the second shooting by a leftist fan of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Are Rachel Maddow and the Huffington Post also guilty by association? You can bet they would think so if the shooter was a member of the Tea Party or a fan of Sarah Palin.

Oh and by the way, if you think it’s awful that we have to analyze the politics of a horrible situation like this, thank the left.

They created the new normal.
