I still have a lot of this on my MP3. The middle to late 60’s and very early 70’s were flooded with one new thing after another. New and different forms were created and filled with such talent and content that the effect on the world is still being thought out. And all without computers, the internet or itunes. Almost magical.

Steven Stills has been a big part of that wave of creativity. Much centered and swirled about him. An incredible talent, he is still out there performing. Though a few years ahead of me, we attended the same high school in Tampa and at a concert in Tamps after he went solo for a time (believe it or not at the Jai Alai fronton) he lamented that they would not let him conduct the high school band so “F…y…Plant High School”. Got a big laugh from some of us alums in the audience.
