Israel Election Exposes A Huge Obama Lie
In January, when it was announced that John Boehner invited Israeli prime minister Netanyahu to address congress, the White House made it clear that Obama would not attend the speech.
The reason they gave was that Obama didn’t want to interfere with the upcoming election in Israel.
Obama Won’t Meet With Netanyahu During Washington Visit
President Obama will not meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next month when he is in Washington to address a joint session of Congress, the White House said Thursday.
“As a matter of long-standing practice and principle, we do not see heads of state or candidates in close proximity to their elections, so as to avoid the appearance of influencing a democratic election in a foreign country,” National Security Council Spokesperson Bernadette Meehan said in a statement. “Accordingly, the President will not be meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu because of the proximity to the Israeli election, which is just two weeks after his planned address to the U.S. Congress.”
That was a total lie. Here’s the truth.
Obama used American tax dollars to try to unseat Netanyahu.
Let me say that again. Obama used American tax dollars to try to unseat Netanyahu. The same man who claimed that he didn’t want to influence Israel’s election did just that – with your tax dollars.
Obama-linked nonprofit filed for new IRS status after accusation of meddling in Israeli election
The American nonprofit OneVoice Movement – under scrutiny by a U.S. Senate panel over possible links to a campaign to oust Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – quietly filed paperwork that would allow it to engage in political activism after two leading Republican lawmakers questioned its use of government funds, FoxNews.com has learned.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., sent a letter Jan. 29 to Secretary of State John Kerry asking whether the group – as a recipient of almost $350,000 in recent grants from the Obama administration’s State Department – had violated its tax-exempt status when it began backing the virulently anti-Netanyahu Victory 15 campaign in Israel earlier that month.
Cruz also publicly asked whether Obama – who’s had a well-documented adversarial relationship with Netanyahu – had “launched a political campaign against” the Israeli leader in the run-up to the election which was held on Tuesday.
Obama supporters refuse to see reality. Every bad thing they ever said or thought about the Bush administration has been amplified by Obama.
He is a petty, deceptive, and vindictive man who will sink to any low to defeat his perceived enemies.
Orwellian is too small a word.
