Apple CEO Denounces Indiana But Sells His Products in Saudi Arabia

March 31, 2015

Now that Indiana has become the object of the left’s two minutes of hate, everyone is jumping on board.

It doesn’t even matter how hypocritical the outrage is. Take Apple CEO Tim Cook…

Apple’s Tim Cook: Indiana’s RFRA is dangerous. Also, you can pick up an iPhone in Saudi Arabia.

The sheer level of willful deception and calculated, propagated ignorance of the actual content and scope of any Restoration of Freedom of Religion Act is astonishing, which others have chronicled far better than I. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook throws his emotional nonsense op-ed in the ring today, declaring religious liberty protections that exist in 30 states “dangerous,” and the sure path to a semblance of “days of segregation and discrimination marked by ‘Whites Only’ signs on shop doors, water fountains and restrooms.”

Ace has a good suggestion…

I would seriously pin Apple’s ears back over this. If you’re a stockholder, write to them. Demand they stop selling iPhones in any country in which homosexuality remains a crime. (Homosexuality is an on-the-books crime in most countries, still, not just the ones where they actually stone gays to death.)

Tim Cook, and all the rest of the gay leftwing bullies, are of course bullying people.

As usual.

I support gay marriage. I’m libertarian on the issue as I don’t think it’s any of the government’s business to tell two consenting adults who love each other they can’t get married.

HOWEVER… I also respect the right of other people to disagree, especially where their conscience and faith are concerned.

Gay marriage activists have no right to force people to support their cause but that’s exactly what they’re doing. And by the way, have you noticed that Christianity is always the target? I’m pretty sure Islam frowns on gay marriage, yet Islam is never the object of the left’s anger. Ever.

Gay marriage activists are leftist political activists. They are, as Ace says, bullies.

The upside, if there is one, is that all of this will be forgotten in a matter of weeks when the left finds something new to be outraged about.

The social justice crowd is like a swarm of locusts that moves from one issue to the next. Once a cause has been completely exhausted, they move onto a fresh target.

Have you noticed that no one is really talking about Ferguson anymore?
