Earth Day is about saving the planet and helping other human beings and has absolutely nothing to do with growing the size of government or advancing progressive politics. If you teabagging anti-government extremists would just get out of the way, the planet could start healing.

Reminder: Earth Day Co-Founder Killed and Composted His Girlfriend

Ira Einhorn was on stage hosting the first Earth Day event at the Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on April 22, 1970. Seven years later, police raided his closet and found the “composted” body of his ex-girlfriend inside a trunk.

Well, at least he covered up the murder in a “green” way, right?

Finally, Bill Nye the Science Guy is celebrating Earth Day with President Obama.
