“Riots Could Become the New Normal”

May 2, 2015

So says leftist media figure Tavis Smiley in a recent piece for Time Magazine…

Tavis Smiley: Protests and Riots Could Become the New Normal

The two seminal pieces of Legislation in the 20th century happened just before the tumult of 1968–the Civil Rights Act in 1964 and the Voting Rights Act in 1965. Fifty years later, we ought to be in a season of celebration. Instead, we find ourselves in an American catastrophe. Trayvon Martin. Eric Garner. Freddie Gray.

Could become? I think we’re already there, Mr. Smiley.

Ferguson, New York, Oakland, Baltimore, etc.

This is the way the left addresses political grievances now. It’s perfectly logical to ask which American city will host the progressive riot of the month for May, June, July and so on. This is all planned, community organized if you will, and it will continue until it doesn’t work anymore.

Of course, it doesn’t help when the leftist mob learns that they can get their way by rioting, but why should Democrats care? They have nothing to lose.

The Democratic Party was decimated in the midterm elections of 2010 and 2014. Republicans control the house and the senate and Democrats have no rising farm team to challenge the GOP for control.

The era of Obama is over and all the Democrats have to offer for 2016 are two old white candidates. One with a growing pile of corruption scandals and another so far left that he probably couldn’t carry Massachusetts.

If you think the riots are bad now, wait until the day after the 2016 election if a Republican wins.
