George Stephanopoulos: An Objective Journalist and Clinton Foundation Donor
Of course I’m joking in the title of this post. George Stephanopoulos isn’t an objective journalist, he just plays one on TV. In real life, he’s a former member of the Bill Clinton administration.
The very idea that Stephanopoulos poses as an objective journalist at ABC News is ridiculous. Now we learn that he’s a major donor to the Clinton Foundation who has given upwards of $75,000. This would be fine if he was a private citizen. But he’s on TV defending the Clinton Foundation from allegations of corruption.
Here’s something I wrote last month at Legal Insurrection…
Former Clinton Staffer Questions ‘Clinton Cash’ Author
George Stephanopoulos worked in the Bill Clinton administration as a senior adviser. In what way is he qualified to question the author of a book which seeks to expose alleged corruption of the Clintons?
Peter Schweizer holds his own in this interview despite the aggressive and skeptical questions hurled at him throughout the discussion.
Stephanopoulos is not so much a journalist, he’s a member of the palace guard. It’s quite clear which side he’s on in this situation.
Watch the video again now that you know where George really stands…
As if that wasn’t bad enough, here’s more…
Stephanopoulos has now said he won’t moderate any GOP debates. Well that’s good but if we hadn’t learned this news, which he didn’t disclose until he was caught, he still would be moderating GOP debates.
Tell me, would Democrats ever agree to a debate moderated by Karl Rove? Of course they wouldn’t.
Do you remember the 2012 GOP debate that Stephanopoulos moderated?
As Ace correctly points out, it was the very moment that the left’s phony claim about a Republican ‘War on Women’ was launched.
With very few exceptions, the Democratic Party and the media are the same thing.
Stephanopoulos is just the latest example.
